TRY TO DO IT THIS YEAR! FOR THE 120$ IS SPENT ON SEEDS AND THE two day trip 100 miles north to the hilly"wasteland mining districts" I got a cool trip with a good friend,an interesting meeting with old aquaintances and while expecting at best a ton of food I REAPED REAWARDS EQUAL TO 5 MILLION DOLLARS WORTH OF RESTAURANT FOOD FOR less than the price of a beat up second hand scrap car with good brakes and a gas peddle! THE EXPERIMENT WAS OPPERATED TO SEE IF a garden in the hilly mining district of (no mans land) would in fact generate the food required to live 10 miles off road in a sane quiet zone where one can use a 6 foot saw and drop 20 trees to build a fine outdoor home. Choose a spot with a nice hill of woody trees 150 ft behind the house you build so you can drop trees down the hill in january in case you decide to winter it! Easier by far than carrying wood a mile or two in 40 below weather! CUT BIG TREES 2-4 FT accross and save a couple50ft. trucks to build yourself a do it yourself crane. WITH A 3 OR 4 PULLY BLOCK AND TACKLE AND A CAR HOOD RIGGED TO COUNTER BALANCE ROCKS TO YOUR TREE TRUNKS YOU CAN SINGLE HANDED OR WITH A FRIEND STACK DRILL AND PEG WITH HOMEADE DOWELS THE LOGS INTO A SUPPER FINE HOUSE! NODOUBT YOU'LL WAIT TILL JUNE OR EARLY JULY TO START THE WORK AS BY THE THE GARDEN WILL START ITS UNENDING SUPPLY OF HEARTY FOOD.
