Me on my 14th birthday right after returning home from Foreign Exchange Program to Ethiopia. During my visit, I stumbled across an Ethiopian Leprhechaun's pot of wood splinters. For my reward, I was granted one wish; I wished for the deep indentation on my head to disappear. Magicaly, it was healed on the spot!
My eyes may appear bigger than normal because in my Ethiopian home, there were no lights and I was not allowed outside during the day because the neighborhood bullies would eat me. In compensation, my eyes grew bigger to be more accustomed to the dark. All in all, my stay in the foreign country was enjoyable despite being chewed on each time I set foot outside by the natives. |
