Jada Bradley
I'm a freelance writer, editor, and translator (Spanish to English) with a variety of experience--from climbing up a volcano in Costa Rica to writing history pamphlets for fourth graders. In addition to my knowledge of Spanish and of translation, I've worked in childrens trade and educational publishing.  I have helped write workbooks and other supplemental educational materials and my writing talents go beyond academics. I've also got personal essays, articles, advertorials, and trivia questions in my cache.

Many writers say that they love to read, and I am no exception. I love to learn also. That is part of the fun of writing--each new assignment means I get to go out and learn about new people, places, and things.

What is up with the Spanish? Again, just a pure love of learning. As a child, I wanted to learn how to speak Spanish, but I started school during a "French" year (all students in that year took French). No disrespect to French, but I really wanted to learn Spanish. In college, I seized the opportunity to take Spanish 101. Then I ended up minoring in it, studying in Costa Rica, and then going to get a Masters in Spanish Translation. See how dangerous a little learning can be?

You can also check out my listing at mediabistro's Freelance Marketplace. I know you have signed up for 1000 websites, and this is just one more, but it is free and there is a wealth of information there.
