| 21/02/02 Jacqui has started 2002 off well. At the moment she is working hard on her routines. She may have a new floor routine sometime in the near future to replace her current one set to music from the movie, "The Mask". Jacqui is also working on a few new skills on all four apparatus, but we'll keep those a secret for now! |
| 27/03/02 Congratulations to Jacqui who received a SILVER MEDAL on uneven bars at the recent Cottbus World Cup in Germany. She came 1st in the final, but was beaten by Great Britain's Elizabeth Tweddle for the gold in the winners final. Jacqui is currently now preparing for the Australian National Championships to be held in late May. |
| 25/07/02 Jacqui and fellow Australian gymnastics team are currently in Manchester, England, preparing for the Commonwealth Games. Jacqui was fortunate enough to gain a position in the team, after brilliant performances at the selection meets, and training camps. Best of luck to her, and the rest of the team, who hope to repeat the magnifcent performance which the Aussie's put in 4 years ago! AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE OI OI OI |
| 04/08/02 Congratulations to Jacqui and her fellow team mates who absolutely blitzed the rest of the field in the Women's team final at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester last week. The Australian team all performed extremely well, with no falls during the entire event and had a very convincing win! Jacqui competed on vault, uneven bars, and beam in the final and all but her vault score counted towards the team total. Jacqui also picked up a bronze medal in the beam final.
