| Jacqueline Bittner is a solo
practitioner located in central New Jersey (Middlesex County) who concentrates in the area
of women's rights with a particular emphasis on sex and gender discrimination, sexual
harassment, pregnancy discrimination and family leave act violations. She has appeared in both New Jersey State and Federal courts as well as
before state administrative agencies.
The firm's practice includes litigation on behalf of plaintiffs
as well as policy formation, training and sexual harassment investigations on behalf of
employers.
Jacqueline Bittner is admitted to the bar of New Jersey and the
United States District Court, District of New Jersey. She is an active member of the
National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), the New Jersey State and Middlesex County
Bar Associations.
Prior to her bar admission, Jacqueline Bittner worked for five
years as an Employee Relations Manager for a large multi-national corporation where she
was responsible for employee relations with a primarily Hispanic workforce in a
factory/warehouse setting. She was responsible for overseeing local hiring and
firing practices, developing human resource policies and employee handbooks, monitoring
and preventing discrimination in the workplace, coordinating training programs and
administering health and pension benefits.
Jacqueline Bittner also worked for seven years as a Lecturer and Teaching Assistant in
Spanish Language and Literature at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey where she
obtained a Ph.D. in Spanish Literature. |
