one I was thinking 'bout the other night Can't say that what you did was right Thought I'd found a true friend in you Thank you for showing me where that road was headed to I won't take this nonsense anymore All of your lies have been unraveled underneath this midnight sky... tell me why All of your sweet words of advice were only used to cure your vices... Pretty impressive - JCA
two it's easy to wake up in the morning, put on the facade everyone recognizes - go forth into the world and play your cards as a true man, in high-roller fashion. but alas! when you retire for the evening and dispose of the remnants of the everyday world, wipe off your countenance with a cold, rough cloth the true person - the dirty weak one - is exposed to the mirror and your visage should shatter the glass before you... maybe that will let you see your ugliness. - JCA
three with all the pollution in the world I do believe your windows could use some Windex. though your views are dusty and probably long-tainted, it would do everyone some good to see a little spic-n-span. - JCA
four if only I had the quick tongue that would produce words before my mind would quiet them if only I had the steady heart that would not quiver long enough for me to catch my breath if only I had the eyes to see he wants nothing to do with me. - JCA |
