Welcome! This is an unofficial site for the Labor Party (Laodongdang), Taiwan. The Party is often referred to in some media as the "Workers' Party" to distinguish it from the "old" Labor Party (Gongdang), which seems to have been reconstituted under as the Taiwan Labor Party (Taiwan Minzhu Gondang). The Party prefers the English title the "Labor Party" as this is a more accurate translation of its Chinese name "Laodongdang". Jacob's Ladder set up this unofficial site for the Labor Party so that both Chinese and non-Chinese speakers can find out something about the Party. All the text content on the Labor Party pages is taken from published Labor Party documents. Views expressed on the other pages of Jacob's Ladder are not necessarily those of the Labor Party.
