JAC--NWFP (Pakistan)
JAC (Joint Action Committee) is a civil society forum for promoting dialogue on issues that have serious implications for the people of Pakistan.  Its main purpose is to ensure that the civil society?s views on critical National issues are articulated and a consensus is evolved. The membership include a wide range of civil society representatives including Professors, NGOs, CBOs, Lawyers, Journalists, Trade Unionists, Medical professionals and other civil society activists.
PEACE   Seminar and Rally in Peshawar Pakistan -

Joint Action Committee ad its members participated in the Peace Rally and NGOs Convention in Peshawar. Behroz Khan (Bureau Chief �The News International�) Prof. M.Ismail (RISE) and Bushra Gohar (HRMDC) members Joint Action Committee (JAC) North West Frontier Province of Pakistan (NWFP) made speeches on the occasion. The members of JAC were raising slogans against Kilings of common people in WANA Military operation.
RESOLUTION
The participants of Peace Convention and Rally supported and approved the Resolution presented by Ms. Bushra Gohar from JAC.
�We the Representatives of Pakistan NGOs Forum (PNF), Coalescing Units of PNF, Pakistan labor Federation, Peasants and Growers Movement of NWFP and Joint Action Committee NWFP strongly condemn the killings of  innocent common population and providing safe and free escape to the Millitants in the Military operation in the South Waziristan and demand from the Government to immediately stop the killings of ordinary citizens and to focus operation only on the Millitants. We further demand from the Governor NWFP, to make public the findings of the so called controversial inquiry Committee formed to investigate the previous incidents in which innocent civilians were killed by Military Forces, (they were supposed to prepare report with in 10 days) to make public the inquiry report of the killings of the peaceful citizens for public information and debate.�
