This website is a place where you will find  informations on a 25 year career in Animation and related artistic activities. Like most animators it started by watching my first cartoons on TV or at the movies.
The fascination that followed explains why thousands of us around the world got into this line of work. For most of us it became so much more than a way to earn a living , but almost a vocation. Animation started quite a long time ago, long before the first computers were even invented. Wether hand drawn or in any other form, it still retains the ability to capture the public's imagination and to suspend disbelief. But no other studio pushed this medium as high than the pioneering "Disney Productions"over eighty years or so. Many have learned the tricks of the trade and have moved on their own path to  implement them and to further this fantasmatic tree of cinematic gems. yet, today, this Art form, let's call it " The Illusion of Life"
( after the so rightfully famous book by Thomas & Jonhston ) is changing gear for better or for worse. CGI is the new name of the game.
Computers are everywhere as classic artists are being let go by the thousands, unless they volunteer to set aside their skillfull hardly earned mastery of drawing to tackle the virtual world with the mouse or the digital pen. Computer Animation has broken new frontiers, space, lightings, textures, yet, good old traditional hand drawn character Animation in its highest form, has still not been surpassed yet. Because of my Love for animated drawings, I am still  among those who enjoy
the traditional hand drawn technics over the 3D approach.  I hope you will enjoy your visit.
