THE WRITERSBLOC, INC.
aspires to develop writers who will
be instrumental in defining new perspectives in contemporary
Philippine Drama. Composed
of both emerging and established
Filipino playwrights, the Bloc
gathers every other Sunday to read
and critically assess new works for
the stage.

Most of the plays born in Bloc sessions eventually find their way into the playbills of professional or amateur theatre companies and the citation lists of national and international award giving bodies.
