Youth Programs at CMEI

The youth program at Crescent Moon Equines is a small, but important aspect of the organization. We started out with only three members, and have had as many as thirteen riders in the program. Since we do not have our own stable anymore, numbers have dropped, leaving the most diligent of the youth riders to keep the program alive. When the numbers began to fall, we lost the funding for the program; so, sadly, I was forced to sell many of the Youth appropriate horses.

Not to be deterred, the youth riders, at the moment, are starting to work with some of my calmer horses, readying them, and helping to train them for the new youth program. They are a diligent group, and I hope that the program can last a long time. And, maybe one day, these young kids will ride for me in the big shows.
