TROT Rare Breeds Association

Common Breeds List

__________________________________________________________________

Since there are so many rare breeds in TROT, here is the list of the horses that CANNOT be registered or compete with the Rare Breeds Association. This list comes straight from the TROT presidents, so no complaining.  This is not a full list of non-importable breeds, as some breeds are considered rare in RL, but they are common in TROT, but can still compete with the TRBA.

Thoroughbreds
Quarter Horses
Appaloosas
Arabians
Paints
Saddlebreds (American, Golden, Standard, etc)
Dutch Warmbloods
Hanoverians
Selle Francais
Oldenburgs
Trakehners
Welsh Ponies (A, B, and C)
Lusitanos
Connemaras
Morgans
American Warmbloods
Andalusians
Pony of the Americas
Standardbreds (American, etc)
National Show Horses
Swedish Warmbloods
Anglo-Arab
Danish Warmbloods
Tennessee Walking Horse
Quarter Ponies

As time goes on, and horses are purchased, sold, and born, I will periodically add more breeds to the list that can not be registered with the association. If a breed is retired from the association, they will able to be specialty registered as well.
