| How can you tell if your own son or daughter is a 'child of the light?' They may exhibit one or more of the following: 1. Photographs show them surrounded by unusual lights, mists or orbs 2. They interact with unseen people, spirits, angels or animals 3. They often talk vey early - sometimes speaking words of wisdom far beyond their age 4. Or very late because they rely on telepathy to communicate 5. They show abilities of natural healing 6. They are happiest when out in nature 7. They are generally very peaceful and loving children - attracting others around them 8. They are very drawn to natural objects - like crystals and plants 9. They have paranormal abilities 10. Paranormal activies is seen around them |

| Readers suggestions for working with and developing their childs psychic skills safely (ideas sent from readers/members of my psychic children forum) 1. Take a box of old family photographs. Ask your child to hold the photographs in their hand and see if they can tell you anything about the people in the picture. 2. Honestly I just treat the whole thing as normal and when she tells me something a little psychic I just ask her about it generally. 3. When my son started showing psychic ability we were all a little scared at first but now I show that I am in charge and we all feel a little better about it. I did not want him to think that his spirits made all the descisions! 4. I often ask James to tell me about the people he talks to that we cannot see. Its amazing what you can learn! 5. I like to take photgraphs when Sammy is talking to her spooks (as we call them) and it is amazing what you can pick up with the camera! 6. I have also found that flower essences and energy work such as cranial sacral and reiki help my son maintain balance by keeping his energy field balanced. I think we have to start to think of children these days not just as physical humans that we are raising to become adults, but also as spiritual beings that will guide us all as they grow into adulthood. 7. I have told my 6yr old that he can only talk to the spirits that are surrounded by good intentions and are friendly. When he was younger we had a little spirit named Daniel that would make Jake do silly things and at times bad things. We had a "talk" with Daniel, my son said he wanted to stay and would try to be better. He was 3 at the time and so was Daniel. My son has 3 other spirits that he talks with on a regular basis and they all seem to keep each other in check and provide a great deal of comfort to my son. 8. Spirits, especially if they are good spirits, will leave you alone if you ask them to. I would suggest to ask the spirits not to touch your children. If you don't mind them in the house, you can tell them they can stay if they don't touch your family members. I think it is fine to have the kids talk with the spirit if it is friendly and playful.
