| What inspired you to write about your Angels?
Many years ago I saw the great angel teacher Diana Cooper talking about angels on the UK day time chat show �This Morning� with Richard and Judy. She really inspired me and the programme made me remember a strange paranormal experience of my own that I'd had as a child. I bought Diana's book and became fascinated with angels and what they might mean to people. I remember thinking; �What a great job� and �I wish I could go on This Morning and talk about angels!� Of course in time I did go on THIS MORNING � twice actually (to date) and I do work full time with angels now, so I�m very happy. If you could speak with three people, either on the Earth or in Spirit, who would they be and why? Spirit - Princess Diana � I�d want to know what really happened and why. She changed so many people�s lives, especially after she passed. It's clear to me that she took on a great life mission. Spirit - Caron Keating � To say thank you for being you, and tell her we miss her on earth. I�d also want to thank her for sharing her �white angel feathers� before others were talking about them. There is a foundation set up in her name: http://www.caronkeating.org/ Earth - Robbie Williams � I�d love to chat with him over a cup of tea about his interest in the paranormal! Oh and his musics good too! How hard is it to communicate with your Angels? Well if you want to have a face to face chat with them then not that easy (but possible with a certain amount of discipline). Remember that they are already in communication with us � all we have to do is listen, and watch for their subtle signs and gentle urgings. Most communication is done by gut instinct and inner knowing rather than actual words (although sometimes they use words and short phrases for emergencies). How do I start to work with Angels / Guides? Well there are no �rules� as such (although people will tell you there are). It�s important to work from a place of love and then do what inspires you. In my book �An Angel Treasury� I have shared some of the amazing things I have learned and also lots of ideas that other people shared with me. When you look at the suggestions, some of them will make you think �...yes, I�m going to have a go at that.� You have to feel excited about doing something. I hope that by looking at the suggestions in the book, people will find their own way of doing things. I don�t want to be seen as a Guru with all of the answers. I like to empower and inspire people to do what works�for them. We are all our own experts. How can I learn more about Angels and how they work with us? Well there are a lot of great angel books out there so buy what you are drawn too (your members can buy my own books from most good book stories or signed copies online at no extra cost from www.angelladyshop.co.uk). There are some lovely books in the shops so buy the books which feel right for you. You might be interested in angel music, angel meditations (I have produced several) or attend an angel workshop if you are interested in something like that. | Karen for World of the Paranormal:-: I had the pleasure recently to interview the great Jacky Newcomb. Jacky Newcomb, aka 'The Angel Lady' is the author of the best selling book 'An Angel Treasury' and 'An Angel Saved My Life', as well as the columnist for CHAT ITS FATE magazine. Jacky has published hundreds of articles about angels and the afterlife and produced several guided meditation CD's and a Angel Workshop CD as well as running angel workshops all over the country. When did you first discover you had a gift? As a small girl I had a lot of strange experiences but didn't really know what they were. I guess I thought everyone had experiences like mine. When I woke up in the night and saw things we used to say I was 'having nightmares' - so that's what I grew up to believe. It was only as an adult that I realised I was actually quite psychic with occasional abilities (and untrained) as a Medium. When did you become interested in the Paranormal? I suppose I always was really but read my first paranormal books as a teenager. I was completely fascinated with the unknown but it was difficult to get esoteric books then. Later I owned a promotions and marketing company. One of the activities was to organise an Alternative Health and Healing festival. I realised I was more interested in attending the event than organising it...and the rest as they say, is history! Will you be doing a book tour when your paranormal book is finished? I have done books signings for each of my books when asked (particularly with Ottakers Book Stores but because it takes up so much time to travel to different venues I don't do a UK book tour as such, just as and when I am invited. I am already working on several more books for publication this year. Would you like to join us for an investigation? It sounds like you all have a lot of fun! I do get asked to do a lot of investigations but haven't really been to any, again, due to work commitments. The last investigation I did was at Derby Gaol after being invited by my friend Richard Felix - it was the day that The Most Haunted Team were there. I helped the team with a s�ance which was a lot of fun. Derby is very close to my home so it was easy to pop over for the evening. The time before that I was at to Tutbury Castle. I was invited by the production team who were filming 'The Worlds Biggest Ghost Hunt'. I spent most of my time behind the camera shut in a small cupboard-like room, filming people's reactions to the phenomenon. Everyone was freezing but I was lovely and snug in my little room! It was fun but I was exhausted because we filmed late into the night. Luckily Tutbury Castle is only about 20 minutes away from where I live too so both of these were easy enough to fit in. Because we spent so much time at the Castle before the public were let in I had the opportunity to sit in the Great Hall and the Kings Bed Chamber (where most of the activity happens) all on my own. It was really peaceful actually and nothing strange happened to me when I was there, but I did enjoy it a lot. I tend to help out with the technical stuff at these things rather than act as a medium though because my psychic skills can be rather haphazard! Sometimes I amaze myself even with the information that I get and other times I am rubbish! What�s the difference between an Angel and Spirit Guide? Actually they are not alike at all but we don�t always perceive them as being different to each other. Angels are light beings who act in servitude to God directly. They look after the bigger stuff like protection, love, support and so on. Spirit guides are assigned directly to us from birth. They are advanced human souls. They are totally aware of our own pre-planned life lessons (our road map if you like). They help to keep us to our path and arrange for the right people to be in place at the right time so that we can carry out our life missions. |
