Missed last week, but I'm refreshed this week. I haven't done much writing over the past week though I have been doing more theatre. I attended two plays over the past three days. I went to Buddies to see The Golden Thug, a play about the last days of Jean Genet and his stay in a Paris hotel with a family. Very entertaining and well written. It reminded me of The State Of Tennessee a lot with good and bad thoughts. I am still working on that play for a reading at the end of May or beginning of June. I feel much better with it, but it still needs work.

I also saw the play, American Buffalo by the Soulpepper group. I have to thank Owen from New York for introducing them to me on his trip here. We saw the play, Our Town there over a month ago and it was amazing. American Buffalo was equally so and it has made me realize that I need to see more plays. I have not taken the time to see them or realize that I could afford them with PWYC and rush seatings. It will make me a better playwright not to just read plays, but see and hear them on stage. I think my plan for the week is to finish another scene from Tennessee. I will feel better with a first draft of that soon.
