A return finally this week! I finished my edit of Fathers And Sons, just having to upload those changes into the computer. I feel very good about it and will send it out within the next two weeks to two theatres. I was charged up this week over troubles with my volunteering and I think that little bit of anger got me back into what I should be doing and that's writing. With volunteering coming to an end, I will be able to focus purely on the plays and stories like never before and hopefully I will see some of the results.

I have also been working on my serial a little more and realizing that this story could be very rewarding. The short chapters and abundance of characters are a big challenge for me, connecting the pieces together and making the character's lives intertwine with each other are a hoot. I'm kind of hoping it says a lot about me and where I am, but also about the state of life in the gay life of Toronto. I don't want to be a singular voice on it, but I think I have a lot to offer to it.

Job wise, I'm still hunting with a few friends stepping up to help me out. I will admit the less days at work have been actually good, but I do need more money to survive. I am enjoying the time and next week, I am heading out of town to visit friends and recharge myself. I will take some of my work with me and some movies and books, but all I'm looking for is good times with friends and a little R&R.
