This week was more about taking some time for myself. After a very long two weeks at my work, a friend from New York whisked me off on a small trip. He drove from New York to Toronto, picked me up and then we drove to the Berkshires in Massachusetts. There he took me to a production of The Heidi Chronicles. He was saddened that I had seen a rather sad production here in Toronto and wanted to show me a better one. It was a two day trip, but it was very relaxing and we're already planning another one for next summer. The Berkshires are filled with theatres throughout the hills and small towns like Pittsfield and Williamstown and a very cool Shakespeare company with a 63 acre piece of land with training for actors. It was an amazing trip.

Now I am working on a final draft of Fathers And Sons to submit to some theatres in September when they start taking submissions again for their playwright development. I am also starting to work on the serial story that I talked about last time and it seems like it could be a really interesting project that isn't extremely time consuming, but something to keep me constantly writing.
