This is going to be my ongoing report of my writing and where it is going.  I felt it good to write about my experiences writing and how my week was in repsect to that.  It has been a beginnings with my coming back from Manitoba visiting my parents.  I finally started to write an idea I had about a mugging close to my experience a few weeks earlier and mixing it with the current tension with gun violence and racial issues in Toronto.  I'm still working the bugs out with the start of an outline (my favourite tool for writing plays.  I did however write the beginning of a scene and it felt good.  When i got back, I started back to work on Tennessee and typing out scenes.  After my scare with almost losing my copy of the written play, I have made it my attempt to get my work on to disk as soon as possible.  I still love the feel of writing scenes and getting the first lines out, but revisiting scenes on the computer has been enjoyable.  A few scenes have begun to seem lively and that's a feeling I love to have. 

 

I have also been undertaking a work task in keeping writing appointments three times a week in the mornings to tpye out my written work.  So far not bad, but I need to have something planned for the time or its a complete waste.
