So it has been an interesting week for creativity.  I decided to cut back to one day a week at Rogers so that I can dedicate a full day to writing if I need it.  I have been getting back into the morning writing three days a week.  I do need to start a bit on the weekends, but it is difficult.

I started a preliminary write on a group of one acts this week while waiting ever so patiently in line at the bank.  It involves experiences of living in one's twenties, about career disillusionment, love relationships, the passage of friendships and the meaning of family and home.  I'm hoping that these plays will be small detours from bigger ones I try to write, giving a sense of accomplishment.

I wrote one more scene from Tennessee so just two more to go.  I'm pushing myself a little more now with a deadline of May 15th for a contest.  I work better with deadlines and since the ideas are all there, I'm hoping it will help. 

I'm now posting in two separate blogs and probably not doing much with livejournal as much.  I might post there, but these spaces allow me greater freedom of expression, meaning 360 degrees on yahoo and msn myspace.  Hopefully I can attract more people over to them to follow along on my writing path.
