| Jeremy was born in Pennsylvania to Jay and Dorthy Jackson. He grew up on a 5 acre small farm with his family where he enjoyed riding his bike and playing in the woods with his neighbor and and best friend Jason Winters. He has an older sister Debi Smeltzer, and two older brothers, Scott and Mike. God was the center of the Jackson family and this was exibited by their 45 minute drive to worship at least 3 times a week. In the summer Jeremy would attend Camp Manatawny . Where he recieved best male athete and best camper several times. In highschool, Jeremy participated in cross country and track and field. Jeremy graduated from Manheim Central Highschool in 1989. After highschool he attended Oklahoma Christian University. He studied business and graduated with a degree in Marketing. After his freshman year he married his highschool sweetheart Kathy Zeigler. They lived in campus housing and enjoyed the fellowship of many Christian friends. One friend was Willie Franklin who served as Jeremy's mentor in evangelism. After graduating college, Jeremy worked one year in Whichata, Kansas as a production manager for Aramark Services. The 70 hour work weeks made trying to serve the Lord difficult and caused Jeremy to choose a different profession. He decided to profess Christ as an evangelist. So he picked up the family and went back to Oklahoma Christian and earned his Masters in Ministery Degree graduating magna cume laudie. After graduating, he worked three years as the campus minister at the University of Tennesse at Martin. While there Jeremy, with the help of the students, baptized over 40 into Christ. Jeremy is currently working as the Evangelist/Involvement Minister at the Lakeview Church of Christ in Tacoma, Washington. Part of his responicbilities include teaching at the Lakeview Bible Institute, where he is training other men to do evangelism. The first three years at Lakeview Jeremy has baptized over 100 into Chirst. |
