DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Take I-5 north from Medford/Central Point (approx. 30 miles) or south from Grants Pass (6 miles).

Take ONLY EXIT for City of Rogue River /Savage Rapids Dam (Exit 48. When driving north, it is right after a big yellow and green mill on the right side.

Driving north, turn right at end of off-ramp. Driving south, turn left, and go under the freeway.

Go across railroad tracks and turn left at first corner (CLASSICK). You will go past CHEVRON station.

Turn left at next corner (MAIN ST.). There is an EVERGREEN BANK on the corner with big bears and a waterfall. Go VERY SLOW – 25 MPH IS STRICTLY ENFORCED!!! Proceed about 2 blocks (Past BECK Football field and row of houses).

Turn right at W. EVANS CREEK ROAD - (STILL 25 MPH ZONE for about a ½ mile.)

Continue on W. Evans Creek Rd all the way to stop sign (just past 7-mile marker). This is W. EVANS CREEK/QUEENS BRANCH RD. Turn left and proceed 1 block, to where the road turns to the right. Don’t go around the bend, but go straight, leaving the main road, which becomes QUEENS BRANCH RD.

Proceed about 1/2 mile. You will pass:

    1. the "cow" driveway on the right
    2. a "narrow road" sign – cross a little bridge
    3. the end of the double-yellow line in the road

We are on the right side of the road JUST AFTER THE END OF THE DOUBLE-YELLOW LINES and have two gates on the RIGHT after that. One is angled in front of you. There is a second one up by the next set of mailboxes.

FYI: There is limited cell phone reception after 3-mile marker on W. Evans Creek Rd.

At the top of the drive are two houses. The gray house on the left is 2220 (the Main House). The house on the left is 2222 (the Cabin). You will be instructed where to park.

CIRCLE  THE PROJECT(S) YOU WANT TO DO.  IF YOU PICK MORE THAN ONE, LIST THEM BY PRIORITY ON THIS REGISTRATION FORM BELOW, YOUR FIRST CHOICE AS #1, THEN #2, #3, ETC.

  • Builders (those actually constructing the arbor) will fall a few trees, frame the arbor, attach the roof.  All tools  and materials will be provided.
  • Scribes  interview campers and create pictograms of their journey to this place and experiences throughout the weekend, all to be put on a large canvas and hung from ends of the arbor.  The stories will be shared at the "feast" on Saturday evening.
  • Seammakers  make pillow covers for the seating  and create  drapes & canopies to "expand" arbor into a tent-like structure to accommodate approx 40-50 people (thinking big here )
  • Candelarias create hanging candle holders for inside arbor, "stump" candles for tables, and luminarias that lead up to arbor night of feast.
  • Music/Dance  to create and lead "Hebrew" group dancing following the feast Saturday night.  Help select and lead hymn singing, especially Saturday night.
  • Photographers take photos and create a Powerpoint slide presentation for Saturday night and available for download from our website after the conference.
  • Food preparation would be facilitated by a group, mostly in the area of cutting up food to be used in salads, platters, pizzas, kabobs, etc.
