Joining Jackson's PTA will help you stay connected to your child's education. It gives you an opportunity  to see what your child's school is doing and share your opinions with other Jackson parents and faculty members.

The Jackson PTA is committed to supporting its parents and teachers in providing the best education possible for our children. You will find Jackson PTA members active in the school in many ways; assisting teachers, creating fundraising opportunities, volunteering for school events and functions, and in supporting the school and Jackson community.
How to Join
Membership is open to all who are apart of the Jackson community; parents, grandparents, teachers, local business owners, and anyone who has an interest in helping support our Jackson children.

Joining is easy. Fill out the Jackson PTA Membership Card and pay your annual dues. You may pick up a card at the PTA Table located at any of the Jackson events; Enrollment, Back-to-School Night, Jog-A-Thon, etc. You may also ask you child's teacher, the Jackson office, or contact Christine Wilson for a card. Return the card and dues to your child's teacher or the Jackson office.

Meetings
The Jackson PTA holds meetings once a month for members to discuss upcoming events, budget and funds allocation, support opportunities, Jackson school needs, and  other items pertaining to helping with the education of our children. Participation is encouraged but not mandatory.
Volunteering
With today's lifestyle, volunteering is hard to fit into your schedule. However, volunteers are what make up the Jackson PTA. It is our goal to create all types of volunteer opportunities so even the busiest member can help.

There are many ways you can volunteer in the Jackson PTA; be apart of the PTA Board (officer, committee chair, and/or event or program coordinator), help with special events, join a committee, phone calling, finding sponsors, creating handouts and flyers, and other ways that fit into your schedule. Contact Christine Wilson or the Jackson PTA for a list of volunteer opportunities.
