-Character File-
Name: Spoon
Home: Shumi
Age: 106
Height: 5'7
Weight: 142
Gender: Male
Hair: Sandy blonde, fading down into blood red in the last four inches. Falls about to his shoulders, and always a little messy, sticking up in odd spikes here and there.
Eyes: Yellow
Siblings: All moomba
Parents: All shumi
Appearance: Spoon likes to dress in reds or blacks, he often wears things that have either flame patterns, or tribal markings. Sometimes he puts his hair into topknot type pinytail, which more often than not gives him the look of a fraggle, but mostly he just lets it be itself and everywhere. Nearly always smiling he has tiny, sharp canines, which stick out over his lip when he's not paying enough attention to his behavior. He usually wears shorts, though sometimes opts for the look of vinyl. Leather makes him feel a little woozy because it's another animal's skin.
All over his body are winding designs and tribal patterns, done in the same blood red as the tips of his hair. They appear as if tattoos, but they simply appeared on his skin when he 'became' a human. The only thing he was brave enough to get was a small and delicate silver ring through his septum(middle part of nose), but it's barely noticable.
His build really is asthetically pleasing to most, with his unintimidating height, good posture, and lean muscles. Spoon doesn't really fall into a categeory of shape other than feline. The prettiest place on his body is his back, where the patterns in his skin circle around an empty space. That's the only place where musculature would be noticed above any other part. Habits: Spoon squeaks, purrs, and makes intelligible sounds fairly often, as was habit for all moomba, but a little bit of it passed over. He's more used to the movements of a moomba, and though they're most often bi-peds, he'll still prance on his hands every once in awhile. Don't be surprised if he licks your face, either, he's just affectionate. He also has a high and feminine giggle which he's slightly embarassed of.
Strengths: Well, he's really strong, even if he doesn't appear so. Used to lifting heavy things and working for long hours, he's good at grunt work. He can run very quickly, for some reason moving on all fours when he does so. Spoon is very loyal and will stick with his friends until the end(even if it's from a safer location a few yards away, he's there). Spoon will always have a sunny disposition unless he's curled into a shaking ball of fear.
Weaknesses: He's a scaredy-cat, so to speak of. Not very adventurous or brave, Spoon will do nearly anything to avoid getting hurt or yelled at. He's got sensitive feelings, but refuses to brood on things. He very well is the lost puppy type.
Personality: Spoon is a happy-go-luck kinda guy, for even though he was rejected by the love of his life, he still finds the optimistic view. He has a strange plutonic attraction to all cats, and they back to him. He likes things with flames and tribal patterns, sometimes he speaks a strange language that few would understand. Spoon has a tendency to be shy and quiet, but he's really a top in bed.
Brief History: Spoon is just a little....odd. He's an over-evolved shumi(an amorphous race nobody knows much about, except they evolve to become what is in their heart). First he evolved into a moomba, THEN he evolved into a human. He's lived a long life, 100 years with the shumi tribe, but when he turned into a moomba(large lion-like creature) he went out and faced the world.
He doesn't really remember much about his hundred years as a shumi, though, other than a vague and fuzzy warm feeling. Hatched from an egg, raised by everyone in the community, learned what he could from them, and then was more or less, reborn. Spoon doesn't like to think of his life as a shumi, much prefering the time when had a gender and seperating physical qualities.
Some dumb-ass turned him into a pet. Albeit his owner was cute....and Spoon wanted so much to be with him that he accidently changed or was 'reborn' to a human. His owner did not understand, proceeded to tell Spoon that he wasn't gay, and kicked him out. Spoon wandered around naked for a few days before some kind soul picked him, drove him into town, and gave him some clothes and the address of a shelter. Unfortunately, he gave Spoon the wrong address, mistaking it for the one his wife had given him so he could pick up a holiday arrangement, and now Spoon is off to find the flower shop.
