Korelia's Love

Korelia writhed in her bed. Her body arched and turned with the procession of her terribly wonderful dream. Sweat made her hair cling to her neck and bare chest and her hands grasped the cotton sheet below her. She moaned so softly in her sleep feeling every bit of herself revieled to no one. Magic washed from her body through the room in elegant pulsating waves making everything in the space of that closed space breath in that life and shimmer with her vitallity. The only repreave from her agonizing perfection was the strong wind that blew threw the open window and forced the black gause to ripple and pull up and away from that heat that eminated from her. The cool wind all but froze the beading swaet on her brow and made that heat mingle with cold. Her body threw another moan into the still and unearthly quiet and then her eyes opened and she lay still. She gasped for breath and she could hardly stop that fine trembling in her legs

She felt as if she had been pounded with every emotion she had felt in the gaze of others that would stare and bore and cut into her. The envy, hate, perversity. All trembled about her in that strang melody of uncovered and unexpressed passion. She had drempt of the thing she wanted but denied herself. All forms of love.

She had drempt of a strange man holding her as she slumped helpless in his arms. She had drempt of him looking into her face for the space of eternity and then rubbing his cheek against hers in the unconditional love of an beast. She had drempt of standing with his arms around her and burying herself in his chest as he draped over her like a heavy cloak.

She drempt of a kiss she would never receive. A kiss chaste and soaked in passion all at the same time. She drempt of heat surrounding them, forming within them as if clothes were too much to handle, yet he wouldn't let go and neither would she. She drempt of him pressing their bodies closer and closer as if they would melt togeather.

She drempt of him pushing her so softly agianst a wall, his lips on her neck. She drempt of him pledging his heart to her and knowing he ment what he said. He was incapable of such a lie. Not in that moment of perfection. She drempt of being pinned so tightly between him and that cool wall. She drempt of him pressing harder and harder against her, his mouth sliding farther down and his teeth lightly grazing delicate skin. She drempt of them murmuring 'I love you's' over and over again. She drempt of her hands roaming over his chest, his back, and tangling in his hair as he sucked on tender flesh. She drempt of him holding the back of her thighs and lifting her body up while she was still pressed against the wall. She drempt of wraping her legs around his waist as he slowly pushed into her.

She drempt of his intense look locking thier gaze into hers and giving all his love in those powerful, glowing eyes. He didn't just see into her, he saw her. He saw who she was. She drempt that in those eyes she saw that he accepted who she was, what she had done, and where she was from. He loved her compleatly and this was the sealing of his love. She drempt that with every powerful thrust, with every crashing and grinding of thier hips, their tie was fortifyed, tempered, it was forged into unknowable strength. She drempt of the extacy shared between body and soul that made one know that what had conspired was true and not the meaninglesness she had always feared.

She drempt. Now the dream was over and she knew that it was only that. She knew that she would never have that exceptance. She knew that no soul could ever truly know about her. She knew she would never have the love she yurned for so tediously.

She curled on her side and waited for those hot tears to wash her face clean of that wonderful dream. She waited for her soul to seep that uphoric feeling and soak the bed that was already wet with sweat. She waited and her heart bled, but, her eyes would not leak the clensing liquid that would give her back the emotional bitterness she needed to keep alive in this cruel blackness.

After half an hour of sleepless misery, she got up and walked into the bathroom. She turned on the shower and let the cold water wash away her false happiness. If she could not have real tears, she would have to settle for substitute ones. She stood there in the beading water for another fifteen minutes and then stepped out and changed, while she was still wet, into a black cotton bodysuit acompanied by a dark purple cape that reached mid-thigh. Her hair bunched in wet ringlets around her face and down her back as it dripped water onto the floor behind her. She reached behind her practice board and grabed her glave. She looked out the window at the red moon. It was almost four by the look of it. What a perfect way to start the day. Hung in disalusionment.

She opened the door to her room and walked out of the trapsings of herself. She didn't want to be that person right then. She closed the door and started walking down the halls.

She stopped at the second dorm down from hers and wonder if Jack had felt that dream. Had he felt her fleeting happiness? If he was wise, he'd keep it to himself. It was not easy being an unsheilded emotional being amongst empaths. Frankly is sucked.

//Well, fuck this// She thought. //What should I care of who felt it and who didn't or if anyone felt it at all?//.

Her shoulders shook for a moment and then she continued to walk down the hall. She came to the central fountain of Balamb's Garden. She wished it didn't look so cheery. She sighed and walked around to the Training Center. Time to rack up some EXP. Looking at the glave, she wondered why she had brought it. Chances were she would simply beat the living shit out of whatever was inside. Oh well. She walked into the training center and half wished she were killed then by some ghastly thing that was waiting for her. Probably no such luck.

AN:(Just so you know... the dream was not about anyone in particular. I didn't want anyone to be confused so I didn't give him any characturizing features.)
