| 3988 A.C. - The twins start school; Brad's lab is shut down by President Loire, so he is focred to work under Dr. Odine again. He moves all of his experiments to the lab he has at home; Brad begins molesting Jack, but Janet and Jill do not know and Jack is too frightened to tell. Brad often takes Jack out in the Centra terrain to train him in fighting techniques. Jill studies magic from her mother. |

| 3989 A.C. - The twins are having trouble getting along with other children because of their unusual looks. No one comes to their seventh birthday party, and that night Brad rapes Jack; Janet and Jill discover the truth, but quickly learn that if they interfere it results in more pain for everyone involved. Janet threatens to take her children and leave, but Brad counters by telling her the true nature of his experiments on the children. Brad claims that the twins will not survive if he does not finish his proceedures; the town turns a blind eye to the Skals; the twins begin second grade. |

| 3992 A.C. - Brad begins to tattoo Jack and Jill on their backs, Jill recieves butterfly wings with the design of the Apollo butterfly, and Jack recieves large black bat wings. Brad also begins to alter Jack's eyes to a more efficient form with color nightvision; Jack skips alot of school, but his mother makes a deal with the school to homeschool him so that he will not be held back; Korelia Lerientes is sent by her employers to Dr. Skal's home to live while she recieves "improvements". She is adoipted by the family and loved by everyone but the heartless Dr. Skal. Brad begins two tattoos on Korelia: golden hawk wings on her back and a snake curled into an infinity sign on her lower back. Korelia is nine years old and accepts the nickname "Kore" from her new family. |

| 3993 A.C. - Laguna shuts down all of Adel's scientists except Dr. Odine; Brad loses his job, but finishes the tattoos on the twins. |

| 3995 A.C. - Jack makes a breakthrough and finally defeats Brad in battle. He expels him from their family and becomes the man of the house ^V^; The night that Jack overcomes his father, Kore disappears without explanation. Her employers have called her back and she has no choice, she is not even permitted to say goodbye to her pseudo-family. Jack is crushed that she did not see him face Brad, but had not been aware that she had seen it. He fears that the fighting drove her away as it did Jill. |

| 3995 A.C. - Korelia starts at Galbadia Garden; Janet contracts an unknown and fatal illness that begins to tear away her mind and sanity; Jack starts high school, but does terribly because he cannot study. He sleeps with his teachers for decent grades. Trying to find a cure for his mother, Jack works the streets of Deling as a prostitute and stalks doctors outside of hospitals for anything they'll give him. |

| 3996 A.C. - Janet dies from the illness. Jack buries her in her garden; Jack drops out of school and leaves Demin to live in Deling City, Galbadia; He goes through a period of extreme self-hatred and guilt, taking any job or selling himself to anyone for anything; Jill and Korelia pop up as often as they can to pull him out of bad situations, but they cannot convince him to stop. |
