Eiji Asamiya

-------

Name: Eiji Asamiya

Player: Terek Laien

Age: 24

Parents: Mother Susan Kincaid (divorced), father Shota Asamiya (deceased)

Siblings: Yayoi Sekai (engaged), older brother Suboshi Asamiya (married)

Brief History: Eiji spent most of his childhood switching between schools his family traveled around a great deal on account of Susans job. He was enrolled in all sorts of activities with his brother from martial arts, piano lessons and swimming to track although he failed abysmally in all but the former. Eiji usually spent time by himself with the family pet a chinchilla and reading. His parents generally ignored the children (reasoning that they could take care of themselves, so long as they didnt kill each other or break any limbs) and spent the first ten years of parenthood bickering. Eventually, Susan and Shota filed for divorce when Eiji was thirteen, which left Suboshi and Yayoi to Susan and Eiji to his father. Eiji spent little time with Shota, instead wandering off to parks to visit the ducks or playing with his chinchilla. Shota died when Eiji was nearing his twenties: the two were visiting a tall office building and Shota apparently jumped off the observation deck, according to his son. His death seemed to have no impact on Eiji, who moved to his own apartment to live by himself while he was studying to be a doctor while working in a business firm.

Habits/Tendencies: Staring off into space when hes got nothing to do, fiddling with his glasses, discreetly checking out any and all he deems attractive and then proceeding to mentally undress them. Whenever he is around animals, he seems to take on a glazed expression and many find it irritating that he seems to pay more attention to birds and beasts than people. He also has a strange tendency to practice voyeurism at the drop of a hat and feel no shame whatsoever, even if he is caught in the act.

Personality: He is initially warm and brash to those who meet him, with a quick tongue. He appears to feel no shame for his actions, ignoring the effects it might have on others. Hes frequently described as both charming and cold he has no qualms for using people for his own ends and he seems to have a strange interest in animals. He isnt a conversation starter, though hes willing to talk with just about anyone. He can be ruthless in getting what he wants (to him, the end justifies the means). Ones first impression is that hes the perfect, although ambitious, gentleman. Eiji cares little for loyalty, motives, or relationships: he has no use for the first two and of the latter, he views them only as passing entertainment.

Special: He has a limited ability to communicate with animals (though he can't control beasts or birds yet), with very limited telekinesis.

Potential: He has recently begun dabbling in tai chi quan (as a martial arts style) and possess a collapsible tai chi sword: if he spent more time practicing, he could become a relatively skillful martial artist - though he views tai chi quan as more a hobby than something serious to be pursued.
