MERCY
MERCY was formed by Jack Sigler in the 60's and quickly established themselves in the music world by recording a Jack Sigler original entitled, "Love Can Make You Happy".
It immediately became a
Smash Hit and soared to the top of the National Charts where it remained for 6 weeks. His song became an international classic, winning both
BMI's Millionaire Award and Two Millionaire Award.

"Love Can Make You Happy" was featured in the 1968 movie, "Fireball Jungle" (produced by George Roberts) and starring Lon Chaney Jr., John Russell and
Durwood Kirby's son Randy.

MERCY was quickly picked up by Warner Brothers and in July 1969 had the unique distinction of sharing the Top Ten with three of the biggest artists in musical history
Elvis Presley ("In The Ghetto") - Frank Sinatra ("My Way")  and The Beatles ("Get Back").

MERCY's first album spun off two more hits - "Forever" and another Sigler original - "Hello Baby". Both hits broke into the national charts and stayed in the top 100 across the country.
MERCY toured the U. S. and Canada
appearing with such greats as
Gary Pucket and the Union Gap, The Turtles, The Association, The Cowsills, The Box Tops, The Rascals, The Mama's and Papa's The Four Seasons, Tommy James and The Shondells along with many others.

MERCY's national television appearances include The Mike Douglas Show - The National March of Dimes Telethon (with Gary Collins and Mary Ann Mobley) plus interviews on
Dick Clark's American Bandstand.
