I don't know what I see
cause the sun is outside
and the moon's on TV
so where did the light go?
it's just out of my reach
I can taste it just barely
it's so sweet, like a peach
I flip on a switch to see what else is on
it's just a broken boy whose Mommy is gone
there's no channels left
on my old TV
a broken boy and the moon
is all I can see
and all that I know
is behind that glass
so let's put on a show
and wait for time to pass
