Scoring Summary
Below is the Scoring System for Fantasy Football 2005
Scoring is based on statistics from eight different categories:
QB Passing Yards QB Touchdowns Rushing Yds Receptions Receiving Yards Total Team TDs Kicking Points Defensive/ST Points
Passing only - NOT rushing Including Rushing TDs RBs ONLY RBs, WRs, TE's RBs, WRs, TE's RBs, WRs, TE's, Individual Kick Returns FGs & Extra PTs Sacks, INTs, Fumbles Rec, TDs
 
Notes on Scoring :
   - Kicking - One point per exta point.  FGs are as follows…0-39 yds 3 Pts…40-49 yds 4 pts…50+ yds 6 pts
   - Defense - 1 pt per Sack, INT, Fumble Recovery…3 pts per TD…5 pts for a shutout
   - Special Teams - 3 pts per TD
   ***Scoring note - Two owners can get pts for 1 TD.  Example - Santana Moss returns a punt for TD.  The owner with Moss gets 1 team TD and the owner with Washington gets 3 pts for special teams TD.
 
RULES
 $200 Entry Fee / $5 per transaction throughout the year
 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place finish in the money
 55% of total pot to 1st / 30% to 2nd / 15% to 3rd
The scoring is based on cumulative stats each week throughout the year
The total of your teams points from all eight categories is your score
Each team can make up to three roster moves per week
   - Moves begin with the last place team each week and they can make two moves.
   - Each team can make two moves going all the way up to the first place team
   - The first place team then gets the option of a third move and it goes back down to the last place team again
Trades will be allowed until Week 10 of the season
   - Trades cost $5 per player…but only count as one move no matter how players are involved
Each Owner is allowed to protect two players per year on injured reserve
   - Once a player is placed on injured reserve he must remain there for a minimum of three weeks
   - After the third week he does NOT have to stay out in three week intervals
   - When a player on IR plays in a game the owner must take him back the next week or he goes back to the free agent pool
