Each Sunday in the Spring, Summer and Fall everyone is invited to participate in or just come enjoy Sunday Strings On The Stage. Any musician or vocalist of any genre is welcome to take the stage or just join in with the regulars who have found a musical home here.
Several times a year music festivals at SMART bring revelers and musicians from all parts of the country to these amazing hills. The fun and laughter and eclectic music last till the wee hours, often finishing up around a bonfire with pickin circles springing up everywhere.
Take away nothing but fine memories, leave nothing but footprints...and come back again soon.
Located near Morganton, NC. Take exit 105 off I-40 and follow the brown signs to South Mountain State Park, Ward's Gap Road in Connelly Springs.The entrance road to SMART is 500 yards from the State Park entrance. Follow the dirt road to all the fun!
