invading arab countries FUELS hatred for the western world, which results in Al Qaeda recruiting more terrorists than ever before.
to 'win' the war on terror, EVERYONE would have to stop thinking for themselves and be subservient mindslaves, because according to the US PATRIOT Act, speaking out against government is now terrorism.
'the war on terror'
how can you have a war against an ideal?
don't forget that most Islamic extremists believe that they are fighting against an oppressive aggressor, I'm sure they'd call themselves freedom fighters.
Before you start spouting any RIGHT WING bullshit, just stop and look at the US's history of interference and all of the shit they've pulled in the middle east in the past.
The CIA lead coup in Iran that overthrew an elected government and placed a dictatorship instead, this was called 'operation ajax', look it up, it is not theory, it is openly admitted by the US.
WHO sold Saddam the chemical and bio weapons?
*cough cough* us and the Americans.
who benefitted from the invasion of Iraq?
*cough cough* Shell and other oil companies.
What about Afghanistan?
before the invasion of Afghanistan about 10% of opium came from there, now; around 60% of opium comes from Afghanistan. This is common knowledge, people have demanded that our forces simply destroy these opium fields, and of course, despite it being an obvious problem with a simple solution, our forces will NOT do anything about it.
Why won't they do anything about it?
Government agencies are behind the opium trade.
"but this doesn't make any sense, why would they import illegal drugs then lock us up for using them?"
it's a double edged blade, they make a lot of money from the drug trade, and it then gives them an excuse to lock more people up. Don't be fooled into thinking that our establishment LIKES the population, I'm sure there's nothing they hate worse than all those unemployed people leeching their money from them. But they also fuel the unemployment situation also, by encouraging foreign workers to come here. Sure you can whine about 'the poles' or whatever, but it's the government who are to blame.
'terrorism'
this is only an ideal, 'one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter', it only depends on which side of the conflict you are on, this is key to understanding the mindsets behind such a concept.
terrorism doesn't just appear out of nowhere, terrorists don't attack western nations for NO REASON.
It's incredibly ignorant and stupid as hell to think 'oh they attack us because we're free'.
They attack us because our countries have fucked their lives up for decades.
Look at the Israel-Palestine conflict:
(I know this may be news to some of you) Israel did not exist before 1947, the entire land was Palestine. Following the second world war, the zionist jews (I'm not saying all jews are zionists) demanded their own land, so with the backing of the world, and their sympathy, the land of Palestine was given to the Jewish community...and TAKEN from the Palestinians who had lived there for many centuries. And by TAKEN, I mean...TAKEN. Military squads rounded all the Palestinians up and stuck them in 2 small areas (west bank, and gaza strip).
Now:
Imagine being removed from your country and forced to live in a small fortified section, in which transit is impossible, access to healthcare and education is near-impossible. The Israelis treat Palestinians like utter shit, similar to how they themselves were treated by the Nazis.
Picture this happening to you, you'd be pissed off too.
99% of terrorist attacks are provoked. The other 1% is made up of lone psychopaths with no real aim aside from just hurting people.
Also, most terrorist attacks are performed by animal rights extremists. Only a small minority of terrorist attacks can actually be attributed to Islamic extremists.
"BUUUUT HOW COME WE DONT HEAR ABOUT THESE ON TV?!"
TV is the biggest liar in the world (I've studied the media for 6 years so far and I've literally been taught over and over that the media is propaganda, and a means of manipulating public opinion), yet you invite it to sit in your living room telling you how to live your life. And hey...if you want to bury your head in the sand, there's always X Factor or Big Brother or some other innane crap to keep you ignorant to the facts.
here's a media lesson for you:
Public television networks only exist because of advertising. The advertisers decide WHAT is put on these networks and what is NOT put on. For instance, ITV will not say a bad word about Coca Cola, because the the Coca Cola company says 'if you tell people bad things about our company, we'll cut your funding'.
You must also look at who OWNS the media.
For instance, Rupert Murdoch has recently announced that he is no longer fond of Gordon Brown. Now you'll see Gordon Brown shown in negative or critical ways on Sky TV channels owned by Murdoch.
Who has REAL power?
Advertisers(large corporations and international banks) and media barons.
The only true means to a 'war on terror' would by diplomatic, it would involve HELPING developing nations, instead of destroying them. It's clear that most people simply do NOT understand 'our enemy'; the Islamic terrorist.
How can you fight an enemy you don't understand? I'll tell you how...you send tons of troops to die in foreign countries and you never, ever, ever win the war.
You must understand the enemy to develop a solution, and that must happen through diplomacy, agreements and words, not weapons. Through trade agreements and aid.
What the UK and US have done to the middle east can be simply likened to this situation:
A child bullies another child(west bullies east). The bullied child then retaliates, striking out against the bully(terrorist attack). The bully then retaliates by bullying even more (war on terror).
A true 'war on terror' would involve a lot of talking and discussion, not attacking countries to nationalise their Oil.
All of this will stop the day that you people decide to start caring about the world. I know none of this seems relevant as you sit on your fat, overfed arse watching TV, take my word for it, it's VERY relevant. But sadly, these people won't realise just HOW relevant all of this is until it's too late for them to even try to make a difference.
George Bush:
Don't you think it's weird that this guy passes laws that destroy the US constitution and democracy, then talks about how he wants to 'bring democracy to the middle east'?
why the hell doesn't he start by RESTORING democracy in the US instead of inciting civil war in Iraq?
Because he's a neocon puppet.
Why must our homeland laws be changed to accompany this 'war on terror'?
Why must our freedoms and liberties be taken from us?
