Take It From Where It Comes
(Epoch Three: 1986-1988)
It didn't matter to her
Who the others were.
If anything went amiss
Or nothing got done,
It had to be totally his fault.
She said he was an angry
Fearful lonely man.
That no matter how hard he tried
It showed on his face.
He would never know or really care
What it means to have a wife.
That he rather show he is fair,
Than shamefully admit
He feels he has been pushed aside.
She said she could understand,
That she wouldn't be surprised
Not even a little bit
If he never felt the warmth
Of a warm embrace.
Cause who would want to share
His harsh and hollow life.
Even after saying this,
She wouldn't leave him be.
With air waving first
Pouring more salt.
Accusing him of having empathy
For no one
He couldn't see.
That he was too preoccupied
In his own world,
Which she believed better off
In the midst
Of a nuclear assault.
Even though her words
Felt like a hundred lashes.
As she went on, he continue to laugh
In his "unsound" mind,he saw a photograph
Of someone blind, telling him he needed glasses
