So green in years,
Few are born to lead.
To set the world in fire.
Every time I hear
A thoughtful word you speak
I wipe away a tear.
You have helped me grow.
Opening up my mind and heart.

I would be dangling.
Everywhere people here
Afraid they are coming apart.

With a beauty that is true,
Your warmth and wisdom too.
And the strength of a river's flow.
You are a bridge to the other side.
Where it isn't just a dream .
Where countries live in harmony.
While happy children sing and dance,
With parents whose love they know.
Please promise me.
If you should ever decide
To go far away.
You won't vanish in a minute,
Like a hand in a glove.
