Literary Award Database [CA] is a bio-bibliographical guide to more than 110,000 contemporary (the later 20th and the 21st centuries) writers in English in all media, including writers of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, drama, as well as journalists, editors, photojournalists, syndicated cartoonists, screenwriters, television scriptwriters, and other media people. Also included are authors who write in languages other than English, provided that their works have been published in the U.S., or translated into English, and literary greats of the earlier 20th century whose work continues to be taught and to elicit critical attention.
