Timmy was appointed temporary chairman, and named the club 'The Family Club'. Election of officers was held. The new officers are: President, Dave and Secretary-Treasurer, Peggy. Each member told what he thought the purposes of the club should be. Purposes suggested were: a more organized home, better living, house in order, better home, everybody kind, more prayer, mother more considerate, a quiet house and the children good. These suggestions were all made by the children. Kelly moved that we have dues of 1 cent a week for children and 1 dollar for grownups. Kelly also moved that if you pay more than your dues, you have a higher rank. The following ranks were agreed on: 2 cents, 1st class; 5 cents, 2nd class; 10 cents, 3rd class. These rank dues to be paid once a month, above and beyond general dues. The ranks have the following votes on money matters: 1st class, 2 votes; 2nd class, 3 votes; 3rd class, 4 votes; and parents, 5 votes. All these motions were seconded and carried unanimously. Timmy moved that we have meetings every Sunday afternoon after lunch, unless members are absent or otherwise notified. Elizabeth seconded the motion. Timmy moved that the meeting be adjourned. Jackie, Kelly and Elizabeth seconded the motion. Meeting adjourned. Treasurers report: We have a balance of $1.67. Everyone owes dues, except Elizabeth and Daddy. Elizabeth and Kelly each paid 25 cents for 3rd class rank and 2nd class rank for 1 month.
