Hey Folks - I thought that it might be a good idea to take a moment and tell you a little about myself and the cartoons on the site. After dropping out of college in 1986, I took the first job that came along in a desperate attempt to survive. After a few feeble attempts to make a living in the art field (wherever that is) I gave up on that dream and put my attention into raising my daughter and providing for my family. Eighteen years later I blew the dust off of the dream and began drawing again. I also nearly immediately began sending these cartoons off to a list of good friends on a daily basis. Not long after that I also began posting them on the web site. This pattern  worked pretty good for me so I tried to update on the weekends (or shortly thereafter). Everything on the web site was drawn using MS Paint, so if it looks a little rough around the edges call Bill Gates. In the winter of 2005 I wrote "The Story of Glee" which can be found on the Archives Page along with links to nearly 400 cartoons as well as some cards which you are welcome to download and use if you are that hard up for cards. In the Spring of 2006 I drew a cartoon of two mice standing behind a mouse caught in a trap. I always draw the cartoon to go with a caption that I already have in mind. After I had drawn this cartoon, I realized that I did not care for the caption. I liked the cartoon so I sent it off to my friends and asked if any of them could come up with a caption for the cartoon. It was a big success (at least in my mind) and that is how the Anita Caption feature was born. In June of 2006, this also lead to the creation of "The Cemetery of the Undead" in which you can put a caption on a make believe tombstone for yourself. As far as making a living in the art field, that dream is sick and dying again. Oh well - there's still that Mr Universe thing. Hope you have a good visit and a good laugh somewhere. Later

You have found the cartoon page of Jack Cummings. I do mostly single panel cartoons revolving around plays on words and snappy comebacks by "Those Guys".
