Page 24: Old Eggs - Hank Ketchum
There is a very interesting story behind this page on the web site. On June 1, 2001, Hank Ketchum, beloved creator of the Dennis the Menace comic strip in America passed away. There is also a United Kingdom Dennis the Menace (no-relation). Well for reasons unknown to me, sometime during the night of January 9th, 2005, and the wee hours of the morning of January 10th, 2005, Hank Ketchum rose from his grave and signed my web page guest book. I was sure that it was a joke played on me by some of my friends from the old college days, until I saw Hank's e-mail address, and a request for me to put him on my daily list of cartoon recipients. I haven't done it as yet though as it would be disturbing for people to see Hank go into the offices of the Rotting Hills Cemetery every day just to check his e-mails. It really was quite an honor however for a deceased cartoonist such as Mr. Ketchum to go through all that trouble just to sign my guest book. This page is dedicated to this momentous occasion.
