Outside of Sonny's Old Building, Bensonhurst:
Jason(to Brenda and Miranda)You two stay out here while Mike and I go 
inside.
Brenda:I want to go with you.
Jason:Too bad, you're staying here. I don't want to have to worry about 
a couple of pregnant women.
Miranda:Don't worry, Jason, we'll wait out here. And if Brenda tries to 
follow you, I'll gladly punch her out. Just find Sonny and bring him 
back to me, safely.
Jason:I'l do my best. Come on, Mike.(Jason and Mike enter the building. 
They hear a scuffle going on and arrive in time to see Sonny and Deke 
fall over the banister. While Sonny manages to catch hold of the edge of 
the banister, Deke falls to the floor below. Mike rushes up the stairs 
to Sonny, while Jason checks on Deke)
Mike(pulling Sonny up)Hold on, Michael, I've got you.(Mike wraps his 
arms tightly around Sonny)It's all right, Michael, it's all over.
Sonny(looking down at Jason checking Deke's vital signs)Is he?
Jason(looks up at Sonny)Yeah, he's dead. He won't ever be bothering you 
again.
Mike(helps Sonny to his feet and they walk down the stairs together)I'm 
going to get Michael out of here.
Jason(nods)I'll call the police.
Miranda(and Brenda climb out of the care as Mike and Sonny exit the 
building. Sonny stares at both of them for a long moment, before finally 
walking over to Miranda and going into her arms)
Mike(seeing Brenda's crestfallen look)Brenda, don't take it personally. 
Throughout this whole Deke mess, it's been Miranda whose been there for 
Sonny. It's only natural she's the one he wants comfort from now.

The Brownstone:
Bobbie(answers the door to Stefan)Stefan, what are you doing here? I 
thought we said all we had to say.
Stefan:Mother's gone from Wyndemere and she won't ever be back. She'll 
be out of our lives, forever, so there's no reason for you not to return 
to Wyndemere.
Bobbie:Your mother wasn't why I left Wyndemere. You were.
Stefan:Barbara, I don't want to be like my mother, but I don't know any 
other way to be. It's all I know. If you come home, maybe you could 
teach me another way to be.
Bobbie:I don't know if it's possible for you to change.
Stefan:I don't know if it is, either, but I'm willing to try. will you 
come back and give it another try? Barbara, we found a love neither of 
us expected to find. Let's don't just throw it away. Isn't it worth 
fighting for. Come home, Barbara.
Bobbie:I don't know, Stefan. Maybe it would be for the best if we both 
cut our losses now before our feelings have a chance to grow any deeper.
Stefan:Will you at least think about what I said.
Bobbie:Yes, I'll think about it.
Stefan:Then that's all I can ask.

V's Apartment:
V(answers the door to Jax)Mr. Jacks, what do you want?
Jax:Did you get my flowers?
V:Yes, I threw them in the garbage.
Jax:The candy?
V:I threw them out the window. The pidgeons enjoyed the, by the way.
Jax:The perfume?
V:I flushed it down the toilet. Look, Mr. Jacks, I can't be bought. So 
how about doing us both a favor. Stop sending me presents, because it's 
not going to work.
Jax:Venus, I'm just trying to show you how much I love you.
V:Right.
Jax:I don't blame you for not believing me, but it's true. Until I lost 
you, I didn't realize just how much that I really do love you.
V:And I'm sure it has absolutely nothing to do with me being a 
Cassadine. Please! Tell me another one.
Jax:It's true, V. I married you for all the wrong reasons. But it took 
you walking out on me to make me realize just how much I love you. do 
you remember our wedding? I think that's the most fun I've ever had. 
You're the only woman I've ever laughed and had such a good time with.
V:Mr. Jacks, give it up. It's too late.
Jax:No, it's not. I know you're hurt and you've been disillusioned by 
me, but I also know you still love me. V, you may not know this about 
it, but when I set my mind to something, there isn't anything I can' 
get. And I've got my mind set on you. You can fight me all you like, but 
eventually I'm going to wear you down. Then I'm going to make you the 
happiest woman in the world. You just wait and see.

Sonny's Room, General Hospital:
Brenda(enters)You wanted to see me, Sonny?
Sonny:Yeah, we need to talk. Do you know that I love you. That I've 
always loved you and I probably always will love you?
Brenda(climbs on the bed and cuddles up to him)I never doubted it for a 
second.
Sonny:Do you also know that I love Miranda, too? You know, until this 
mess, I never thought a person could love two people at the same time, 
but it's true. I'm in love with both you and Miranda. You have half of 
my heart and Miranda has the other half. But there's only one me and I 
can't have you both. So I have to make a choice which one of you I'm 
going go make a life with. What makes it even more complicated is your 
both pregnant with my child. Brenda, when I came out of that apartment 
building and saw both you and Miranda waiting for me, I made my choice. 
I chose Miranda, that's why I went to her.
Brenda(gets off the bed)I don't want to hear this.
Sonny:Brenda, I'll support you and I'll be there for you and my child, 
but I can't be with you the way you want me to.
Brenda:How can you choose Miranda? You know we're in each other's blood. 
We share the same heart. That we belong together.
Sonny:Brenda, Miranda is my wife. We took vows together. I don't know if 
I'd have survived this whole Deke mess if it weren't for Miranda. 
Miranda takes care of me. No one did that for me when I was a child and 
I need that now. I want someone to take care of me.
Brenda:I cand take care of you just as well as Miranda can.
Sonny:Brenda, you want someone to take care of you, too. That's what 
your whole relationship with Jax was about.
Brenda:Baby, we can take care of each other.
Sonny:Brenda, look at me. I can't even take care of myself. I've got 
years of psychiatric therapy ahead of me before I can put my life back 
together.
Brenda:All right, fine. Choose to stay with Miranda out of gratitude. 
But we both know it'll only be a matter of time before I have you back 
in my bed. You've never been able to resist me for long and our child 
binds us together, forever. Everytime you come to see our child, you'll 
see me and want me and everytime you see me it'll be a little harder for 
you to leave me and to return to Miranda. And I can see in your eyes you 
know it's true.
Sonny:Goodbye, Brenda.

Jason's Penthouse:
Jason(opens the door to Nikolas)Nikolas, what are you doing here?
Nikolas:I wanted to return the key to the room above Jake's.
Jason:Come in. Have you finally decided what you're going to do.
Nikolas:I'm going to move in with Luke and Laura.
Jason:How's it going on that front.
Nikolas:Better, but it's still hard.
Jason:But it must be going good enough for you to move in with your 
parents.
Nikolas:We're all hoping we can become a real family if I live with 
them. I want to thank you for giving me a place to live. There's no 
telling what might have happened to me if you hadn't.
Jason(laughs)Yeah, you might have become the crimelord of Port Charles. 
Just like me.

Sonny's Room, General Hospital:
Sonny(and Miranda cuddling on his bed)I made it clear to Brenda that my 
life's with you, now.
Miranda:(running her fingers through his hair)You know it's not going to 
be ease. The child you share with Brenda will always tie you two 
together.
Sonny:I know.
Miranda:And you know she'll use the child to try and get you back.
Sonny:I know.
Miranda:You know that I love you.
Sonny:(smiles)I know.
Miranda:(playfully punches him)You brat. You're supposed to say "I love 
you, too".
Sonny:I love you, too. You know I do. (they melt into a kiss)

Jax's Apartment:
Jax(opens the door to Brenda)Brender, what are you doing here?
Brenda:Jax, I need your help. You're not going to believe this. Sonny 
has decided to stay with Miranda. You've got to help me.
Jax:What do you expect me to do about it?
Brenda:If Sonny thinks we've gotten back together, it'll drive him 
crazy. He won't be able to stand the thought of you being a father to 
his child.
Jax:Forget it, Brender. I'm trying as hard as I can to get V back. If I 
hang around with you, I'll never be able to convince V I really love 
her. Find yourself another sap to get at Corinthos with. All my 
attentions are going to be devoted to getting back the woman I love.
Brenda:Fine. Be that way. I don't need your help, anyway. I may not get 
Sonny back tomorrow, or next week or even next month, but I will get him 
back. Because just like the sun rises in the morning and sets in the 
evening, one thing remains true. Sonny Corinthos can't resist me. He's 
never been able to and he never will be able to. Who needs you.(she 
slams the door behind her as she leaves. Once inside her car, she begins 
working on her stragedy)The first thing I need to do is schedule an 
ultrasound and get Sonny to be there with me for it. Then I'll convince 
him to attend natural child birth classes with me, since, naturally, 
he'll want to be there when Little Stone is born. Not to mention getting 
him to help me set up the nursery and to shop for the baby. (smirking) 
This is going to be a piece of cake. Sonny, you're mine. Miranda, you 
don't stand a chance.

Wyndemere:
Stefan(listens as his footsteps echo through the house, alone but for 
the servants. No Natasha up painting in her studio. No Michael calling 
him "Steve". No Helena plotting some new nefarious scheme. But more 
importantly, no Barbara. They were all gone. How did it come to this. He 
was all alone now. Perhaps he should sell Spoon Island and return to 
Greece. There was really nothing keeping him in Port Charles anymore. As 
he starts up the stairs to crawl into his cold and empty bed, the front 
door opens behind him)
Bobbie(enters carrying a suitcase)I thought it over and I thought we 
were with one more try.
Stefan(starts to walk back down the stairs to her)I can't guarantee you 
that I can change.
Bobbie:I'm not asking for guarantees.
Stefan:I don't want to be like my mother. I really want to try to 
change.
Bobbie:That's all I can ask of you.
Stefan:I'll need your help.
Bobbie:That's why I'm here.
Stefan(takes the final step that takes him to Bobbie)I love you, 
Barbara.
Bobbie:I love you, Stefan.
Stefan:(smiles)Let's go upstairs.(they walk arm-in-arm up the stairs)

Private Jet: Destination Unknown:
Helena(holds up her glass as Faison fills it with champagne)Well, Cesar, 
that was a little too close for comfort. I didn't relish the thought of 
spending my golden years behind bars.
Faison:It would have never come to that. Even without you blackmailing 
Stefan, I would have found a way out for us. Let's forget about it. 
Where would you like to go? I thought Moscow. I still have a few 
contacts there left over fromt he old regime. I thought that would be 
the perfect place to begin to rebuild our powerbase.
Helena:It sounds like a good plan to me. I've always loved Moscow. And 
once were back in power, again, we can return to Port Charles and deal 
with our enemies as they deserve to be dealt with.
Faison(clinks his glass with hers)Yes, those fools haven't seen the last 
of us. They haven't seen the last of us by a long shot.

As we leave Port Charles, everything is as peaceful as it ever gets as 
the residents await for the next twist of fate life has to hand them.
