Jax's Room, Wyndemere:
Stefan(bursts into the room)What's going on.(He sees a knife sticking 
out of the pillow inches from Jax's head)
Sonny:(snarls in Jax's face)You deserve to die.(he climbs off Jax's 
chest and storms out of the room)
Stefan:What just happened here?
Miranda:Nothing.
Jax:Nothing? That bloody lunatic tried to kill me. Look at that knife. 
An inch closer and I'd be dead.
Miranda:You're exaggerating.
Jax:Look at my throat. I'm bleeding.
Miranda:You could have done the same thing shaving. Excuse me, I'm going 
to see how Sonny is.(she exits)
Stefan:What happened here?
Jax:That maniac was waiting for me in my bed with a knife ranting and 
raving about someone named Deke.
Stefan:Really? You don't say.

Stefan and Bobbie's Bedroom:
Bobbie(is half awake when Helena enters with another cup of hot 
chocolate. Something in the furtive way Helena's behaving makes Bobbie 
keep silent. She watches as Helena set the mug down, take out a vial 
from her pocket and put a drop of liquid into the chocolate. When Helena 
turns around and heads for the bed with the mug, Bobbie pretends like 
she's sleeping)
Helena:(tries to shake her awake)Barbara, dahling, wake-up. I've got 
something for you.
Bobbie(feigns sleepiness)No, I'm too tired. Just let me sleep.
Helena(gives it another try)Come on, Barbara, wake-up. I brought you 
some hot chocolate. You enjoyed my last hot chocolate, didn't you.(she 
finally gives up and leaves the room, taking her hot chocolate with her. 
While Bobbie remembers all the times recently Helena has brought her 
food and drinks)

Sonny and Miranda's Room:
Miranda:(enters to find Sonny pacing the floor in agitation)Are you all 
right?
Sonny:Why did you have to stop me from killing him. He deserves to die. 
He brought my worst nightmare back into my life.
Miranda:Sonny, Deke is dead. You know he is.
Sonny:No, he isn't. It was all a trick. Just like Luke and I pulled on 
everyone when we faked Laura's death in that explosion. None of you ever 
met Deke. That's why you can't see through his disguise. See that 
Taggert is really Deke. It even took me a long time to see through it, 
myself. But now everything makes so much sense on why Taggert's been out 
to get me since he came to this town. It's because Taggert is Deke.
Miranda:Sonny, it's getting late. Why don't we get ready for bed.
Sonny:Please, don't tell me to get some sleep because I'll feel better 
in the morning. I feel perfectly fine, right now. I know what I know and 
that isn't going to change by morning.

Stefan's Study:
Alexis:(enters)You sent for me, Cousin.
Stefan(sitting behind his desk)I want you to start the procedure to have 
Michael declared mentally incompetent and have commitment papers drawn 
up so Isabella can have Michael institutionalized.
Alexis:What happened?
Stefan:Michael attacked Jax accusing him of bringing his dead stepfather 
to town.
Alexis;You must be very pleased. Your plan has worked like a charm.
Stefan:I would be if I weren't so worried about Barbara's health.
Alexis:Do the doctor's have any idea what's wrong with her?
Stefan:No, they haven't gotten all the tests back, yet, so they haven't 
been able to make a correct diagnosis.

The Next Morning:
Sonny and Miranda's Room:
Miranda(is sitting in a chair watching Sonny sleeping when Stefan 
enters)He just drifted off to sleep an hour ago.
Stefan:Isabella, I'd like to speak to you down in my study.
Miranda:I really don't want to leave Sonny alone at the moment.
Stefan:It's about Michael I wish to speak to you about.(as they exit, 
Sonny's eyes pops open and he follows after them)

Stefan and Bobbie's Room:
Helena(enters with a fresh cup of hot chocolate and finds Bobbie propped 
up against the pillows)Good morning, Barbara. I'm glad to see you're 
awake. I dropped by your room, last night, with some hot chocolate, but 
I couldn't arouse you.
Bobbie:I know. I was pretending to be asleep.
Helena(smile vanishes)Why would you do something like that, Barbara, 
dahling.
Bobbie:Because I saw you put something in my hot chocolate.
Helena:Barbara, I don't know what you're talking about.
Bobbie:Cut the crap, Helena. You're the reason I'm sick, aren't you? I 
remember all those times you brought me breakfast in bed, a glass of 
champagne, a cup of hot chocolate, and fool that I was, I just thought 
you were trying to be nice to me. But why you were doing was poisoning 
me. Why? What did I ever do to you? Is it because I'm a Spencer and 
you're a Cassadine?
Helena:It's a pity you're not as stupid as the Bell creature was. It 
would make things a whole lot easier. But since you've figured it out, I 
mayaswell confess. Yes, Barbara, it's true. I've been slowly poisoning 
you. It's really nothing personal, my dear. You're not a bad sort for 
being a Spencer. You see, this is really all about power. Me regaining 
the power my son stole from me and I'm using you as a pawn to do it.
Bobbie:How?
Helena:It's very simple. You've already ingested enough poison to kill 
you, unless I give you the antidote. And I"ll only give it to you if 
Stefan agrees to hand me back all my power.
Bobbie:And if he doesn't?
Helena:It's quite simple, really. Then you'll die.

Stefan's Study:
Miranda(as she and Stefan enter and she spots Jax)What's he doing 
here?(outside the study Sonny presses his ear up against the door and 
listens)
Stefan:Since Jax is the person who Michael attacked, I thought he should 
have a say in the matter.
Miranda:What matter?
Stefan:Last night, Michael could have killed Jax. From what Jax has told 
me, I've ascertained Michael was not in his right mind at the time. 
Michael proved he was a danger to others. Who knows who'll he'll attack 
next. Something must me done about him. Which is why I've taken the 
liberty of drawing up commitment papers for you to sign so Michael can 
be institutionalized at once.
Sonny:Jax and Stefan must be working together. I've got to get out of 
here before they have me locked away for the rest of my life.(he runs 
out the front door and makes his way off the island)
