The Airport, New York:
Brenda:What do you mean the shuttle back to Port Charles is taxiing the 
runway. You've got to stop it from taking off. The man that I love is on 
that plane and I have to tell him I'm going to have his baby before he 
makes the biggest mistake of his life.
Clerk:That's all very nice, but I'm not stopping that plane. You'll just 
have to buy a ticket on the next shuttle to Port Charles and tell your 
boyfriend of his impending fatherhood when you arrive.
Brenda:You are not listening to me. He's planning to get married, today, 
and I've got to stop it. 
Clerk:And you're not listening to me. I'm not stopping a plane from 
taking off becaus of your mixed-up love life.
Brenda:Have you ever heard of Jasper Jacks, the Quartermaines and the 
Cassadines? They're all friends of mind.
Clerk:Well, bully for you.
Brenda:They'll get you fired when they hear how you've treated me.
Clerk:It's really a moot point now. The plane just took off.
Brenda:Damn it. When's the next shuttle?
Clerk:In an hour.
Brenda:Get me a seat on it. You'd better hope I get back in time to stop 
that wedding or I'll make you sorry.

Wyndemere:
Tiffany.Helena, darlin,I want to thank you for giving me the exclusive 
coverage of the wedding of the disappearing bridegroom and the 
back-from-the-dead bride.
Helena:Tiffany, dahling, I would only give it to you.
Tiffany:Helena, darlin, this is going to be a ratings blockbuster. You 
have no idea, darlin, the interest Sonny and Miranda inspire. Sonny 
disappeared from his wedding to Brenda Barrett only to reappear at his 
wedding to Madeline James where he was shot. Later it was discovered 
that Madeline James was really Miranda Jacks who was really Isabella 
Cassadine. Add to that they make such a beautiful couple, darlin, and 
the people of Port Charles are as interested in them as the English are 
the royals.
Helena:Your coverage will be done in good taste, of course, dahling.
Tiffany:Of course, darlin. By the way, darlin, where are Sonny and 
Miranda?
Luke(puffing on a cigar)That's a very good question, Tiff. Sonny and 
Miranda should be here by now. I hope nothing's gone wrong.
Tiffany:Luke, darlin, it's so good to see you. How's Laura?
Luke:I'm afraid my wife isn't a favorite topic of Helena's. We'll talk 
later.(he sidles up to Helena)The Cassadines and the Spencers 
socializing together. Who would have thunk it, eh, Helena?
Helena:Don't let it worry you, Luke, dahling. This is a one-time only 
occasion.
Jax(sidles up to V)Venus, I wanted to tell you how lovely I think you 
look. You're going to outshine the bride.
V:Thank you, Mr. Jacks. You must be anxious for Mr. Corinthos to marry 
my sister.
Jax:WHy would you think that?
V:Because as soon as he's safely married he'll no longer be a threat to 
your relationship with Miss Barrett.
Jax:I have no relationship with Brender.
V:Mr. Jacks, what happened?
Jax:I finally woke-up. Everything you said to me was true. Brender only 
was with me because she couldn't have Sonny and I deserve better than 
that.
V:Are you all right, Mr. Jacks?
Jax:I feel like I just snapped out of a trance and I'm finally back to 
being myself. I just have one regret. Before I went chasing after 
Brender when Sonny left town, something was starting to develop between 
you and I. And I'd like to know if I've blown it or if I still have a 
chance with you. Do I still have a chance with you, V?(everyone hears 
singing and turns towards the door)
Sonny(and Miranda enter singing)We're going to the chapel of love. 
What's everyone staring at. You didn't think we were going to miss our 
own wedding, did you?
Helena(takes Miranda aside)Isabella, is everything all right?
Miranda:Look at me, Mother. Have you ever seen me so happy? I'm going to 
marry the man of my dreams in less than two hours. Well, actually, I 
don't think I could ever dream up anyone quite like Sonny. He's unique 
and I'm madly in love with him and we're going to spend the rest of our 
lives together. And as soon as Brenda Barrett sees me wearing Sonny's 
ring she'll finally get the message and leave Sonny alone.(she goes over 
to V)V, come and help me get dressed.
Jax:Mirander, I'd like to talk to you a moment in private. I think 
there's something you should know.
Miranda:Jax, I have nothing to say to you.(Sonny comes up behind him as 
Miranda and V head upstairs)
Sonny:Still trying to stir up trouble, Jax?
Jax:You think everything's going your way, don't you, Corinthos. Well, I 
can blow you out of the water anytime I want.
Sonny:I just wanted to let you know. After I get back from my honeymoon, 
you and I are going to settle up for that little prank you and Lolita 
pulled on me.
Luke(comes up to them)Come on, Sonny. Let's get you ready for your 
wedding.
Helena(signals Yanni)
Yanni:Yes, Madam.
Helena:Somehow the Barrett creature must have missed Michael and 
Isabella in New York. That means she'll be showing up here. Post some 
men to be on the look out for her.
Yanni:Maybe she'll give up.
Helena:No, Yanni, I've met women like the Barrett creature before. They 
never give up. She's probably on her way here as we speak. On that other 
matter, are the men in position to snatch Barbara when I give then the 
signal.
Yanni:Yes, madam.

Sonny's Bedroom:
Luke:Well, partner, you don't seem like a man whose about to call off 
his wedding.
Sonny:Forget what I said on the phone. I think it was a combination of 
guilt, confusion and pre-marital jitters. The bottom line is I love 
Miranda. I'm crazy about her. Whatever feelings I have for Brenda, 
history isn't about to repeat itself. I proposed to Lily because of a 
deal I made with Hernando Rivera. I asked Miranda to marry me because 
I'm in love with her and I want to spend the rest of my life with her.
Luke:Glad to hear it. You had me worried there for awhile. I'll go and 
get Jason, while you finish dressing.

Helena's Bedroom:
Miranda(as V helps her slip into the Cassadine Wedding Gown)You seem 
awfully happy?
V:I am. If I don't tell someone I'm going to burst. Mr. Jacks told me 
he's finally over Miss Barrett and asked me if he had a chance with me.
Miranda(not thrilled)That's great.
V:You don't sound like you mean it.
Miranda:I really like you, V. I don't want to see you get hurt. Jax can 
be really wonderful. Don't get me wrong. But there's another side to him 
that isn't so pleasant. When he had no further use for me he told me to 
leave town and he wasn't nice about it, either. Just be careful. Jax is 
a charming snake. As long as you remember that and keep your eyes wide 
open you should be fine. Just don't let his golden glitter blind you to 
his true nature.
V:Thanks for the advice. I'm not used to having a big sister. This is a 
really beautiful wedding gown.
Miranda:Cassadine brides have worn it for generations. It's become a 
tradition. No Cassadine has married without the bride wearing this gown. 
Maybe it's for the best that Stefan stopped me from marrying Sonny 
before. When I was a child I used to dream of wearing this gown when I 
married the man I'd spend the rest of my life with. I'm glad I'll be 
getting to wear it for Sonny. I think it's an omen of only good things 
ahead. And you'll wear it, too, when you find the man of your dreams.
V:Only you don't think that man is Mr. Jacks, do you?

En Route To Port Charles:
Brenda(hails a stewardess)Do you have any idea when we'll be landing?
Stewardess:We should be touching down in Port Charles in thirty minutes.
Brenda:Could I use your phone?
Stewardess:Certainly. Signal me when you're done and I'll come back for 
it.
Mrs. Lansbury:Cassadine residence.
Brenda:I'd like to speak to Mr. Corinthos.
Mrs. Lansbury:Miss Barrett, he's getting ready for his wedding.
Brenda:I know that. Just get him. Tell him I want to talk to him.(she 
hears a click in her ear)Hello? She hung up on me. How dare she.(she 
hits the redial and gets a busy signal)

Wyndemere:
Luke(grabs the phone from Mrs. Lansbury and hangs it up, then he takes 
it off the hook)Sorry, Brenda, no can do. Mrs. Lansbury, Sonny doesn't 
need to hear anything she has to say.
Mrs. Lansbury:Yes, sir. Whatever you say.
Luke:Be sure to leave the phone off the hook in case she should try to 
call again.
Carly:I saw you with V. You had her eating out of the palm of your hand. 
I'm impressed.
Jax:I told you V was no problem.
Carly:I've been thinking. I think you should keep your pursuit of V a 
secret from Cassadine and present him with a fait accompli after you've 
married V.
Jax:Why?
Carly:I've watched the way he disapproves of Sonny as a husband for 
Miranda and I think he might have the same objection about you and V.
Jax:Sonny's a gangster.
Carly:Well, you're not much better. It's better to be safe than sorry. 
Speaking of the gangster. What did Sonny have to say to you?
Jax:He wanted to let me know he's was going to deal with me after his 
honeymoon. But I think it's time I let Sonny know whose really in the 
driver's seat.
Carly:What are you going to do?
Jax:You'll see.
Carly:Jax, whatever it is, don't do it.(she watches as he heads upstairs 
and follows him. She sees him going into Sonny's bedroom)
Sonny(is putting on his cuff links in front of the mirror as he sees 
Jax's reflection in the glass.)What do you want, Candyboy? I'm a little 
busy at the moment.
Jax:So you think you're going to deal with me when you return from your 
honeymoon, do you? I've got news for you, Corinthos. I'm the person in 
the position of power here, not you.
Sonny:What are you talking about?
Jax:I know you slept with Brenda and when the priest asks why you and 
Miranda shouldn't be married, I'm going to stand up and tell him. What 
do you think of that, Sonny? Now I think I'll go take my seat for the 
wedding. I'll see you there.(as Jax exits, Sonny's legs give out on him 
and he sits down on the bed in shock)
