Miranda(enters her room to find it lit entirely by candlelight and Sonny 
wearing a robe, chilling a bottle of champagne)Sonny, what are you doing 
here?
Sonny:I wanted to surprise you. I didn't think there was any reason we 
should be missing each other when I could simply joing you in New York.
Miranda(runs into his arms)Sonny, I love you.
Sonny:(holds her a little too tightly)I love you, too. I've had this 
really wonderful idea. Why don't we stay in New York until our wedding 
day. Your mother's handling everything, so there's really nothing to 
prevent us from having a pre-honeymoon in New York, is there?
Miranda:Not a thing. I love it. We could go ice skating at Rockerfeller 
Center. Take a carriage ride in Central Park. Or go to the top of the 
Empire State Building. We could do all the New York touristy things 
eveyone does.
Sonny:That's the idea. And I could take you to the old neighborhood and 
show you my old stomping ground. We could even stop in and visit the 
Cerullos.
Miranda:You've told me so much about them, I'd really like to meet them.
Sonny:There's something else I recalled. Something about you modelling 
lingerie for me and me taking it off? Why don't you go to the bathroom 
and slip some on and then the fashion show can begin.
Miranda:(kisses him)I'll be right back. Don't go away.
Sonny:I won't.(his smile vanishes when the door closes behind her)I just 
hope I can pull this off.

Luke's Club:
Carly(enters)You summoned me, Uncle Luke?
Luke:(throws the wig and latex mask at her)Explain this.
Carly:Where did you get these?
Luke:Sonny gave them to me. You care to explain why you wanted to screw 
up his relationship with Miranda. You don't want him for yourself, do 
you? And what's going on between you and Baywatch Boy. Sonny said you're 
warming the sheets with him.
Carly:I don't owe you an explanation. You don't own me.
Luke:Sweet Caroline, Uncle Luke does not like your tone of voice. 
Anymore than Jason's going to like what you did to Sonny. You know how 
protective he is of Sonny. Taggert had to pull him off Jax because of 
Sonny.
Carly:You wouldn't!
Luke:Try me. So what are you and Goldenboy up to? 
Carly:I wasn't trying to hurt Sonny. He was just a pawn in my plan to 
prove to Jax what his precious Brenda was.
Luke:Pawn? You've picked up some of Stiffin's chess talk, along with his 
stagedy. Why do you care if Brenda makes a fool out of the beach boy?
Carly:I wanted him to become my partner. I'm sick of just being your 
Cassadine spy. I want a piece of the pie for myself.
Luke:And you want that snake to help you get it? Caroline, he'd 
double-cross his own mother to get what he wants.
Carly:I've take precautions to make sure that doens't happen. Do you 
intend to get in my way?
Luke:Not as long as it doesn't interfere with my plans and doesn't hurt 
any of my friends.
Carly:It won't.
Luke:It'd better not.

Wyndemere:
Stefan:I let you stay so you could seduce my sister away from Corinthos.
Jax:It's not my fault Mirander took off for New York right after I 
arrived. I can't follow her there, because I'm out on bail. But if you 
get the charges dropped against me, then I'll be more than happy to take 
the Big Apple by storm.
Stefan:Alexis is working on it as we speak. Anyway, Isabella should be 
home, tomorrow and I expect you to get her in bed poste haste. The 
wedding is in a few days time and we're rapidly running out of time.
Bobbie(and V enter loaded down with packages)
Stefan:Barbara, why are you home so early. You weren't supposed to be 
back until tomorrow.
Bobbie:It's nice to know I was missed.
Stefan:That's not what I meant. Let me take those packages from you, 
Natasha. Where's Isabella?
Bobbie:Sonny showed up in New York. He and Miranda are going to stay 
there until the wedding day. V and I thought we'd come back early so as 
not to cramp their style. Come on, V, let's take these packages 
upstairs.(the exit)
Stefan:Damn him! It's like he knew what I was planning and purposely 
thwarted me.

The Plaza Hotel, New York:
Miranda(lays cradled in Sonny's arms)Last night was really wild. We've 
never got that uninhibited before.
Sonny:You didn't enjoy it?
Miranda:Are you kidding? It was fantastic.
Sonny:I'm glad I didn't disappoint you.
Miranda;You never do. Where did a catholic boy learn things like that.
Sonny(flashes his dimples)I had good teachers.
Miranda:Can you believe in less than 48 hours we're finally going to be 
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Corinthos?
Sonny:It's been quite a trip to the altar, hasn't it? Our first wedding 
was interrupted by Brenda and a hit squad. And our second by your 
brother. Let's hope the third time is the charm.
Miranda:Sonny, absolutely nothing or no once is going to stop this 
wedding.
Sonny:I hope you're right. You know I love you, don't you?
Miranda:Of course, I do. Why are you suddenly so serious.
Sonny:No reason, I just want you to remember that no matter what happens 
in the future that I love you with all my heart and soul.
Miranda:I know. I grew-up feeling unloved, but ever since I've met you, 
I've never felt that way, again.(she fingers his neck)I left quite a 
mark on you. I thought you were crazy when you said a hickey could be a 
turn out. But just seeing it on you and knowing I'm the one who put it 
there is making me hot.
Sonny(feigns a teasing note)Oh, really. Well, maybe I can do something 
to cool you off.(he begins nuzzling her neck)
Miranda:That's definitely making me hotter. You know that's the first 
hickey I've even given a man.
Sonny:I'm glad I'm you're first, and I'd better be your last.
Miranda:Sonny, you talk too much. I can think of much better things to 
do with your mouth.(they melt into a kiss)

Luke's Club:
Brenda(enters)Where's Sonny?
Luke:Hello, to you to, Brenda.
Brenda:You didn't answer my question. Where's Sonny.
Luke:That's really none of your business.
Brenda:You were always against Sonny and me, weren't you.
Luke:There is no Sonny and you. He's with Miranda, now. And to answer 
you question, yes. Sonny's like a brother to me. I've always thought you 
were poison for him. Pretty poison. But poison nonetheless.
Brenda:What did I ever do to make you hate me?
Luke:You wore a wire for the cops. I don't care what excuse you came up 
with for doing it, you did it. You don't do something like that to 
someone you claim to love.
Brenda:Well, you couldn't keep us apart before and you won't keep us 
apart, now.
Luke:Earth to Brenda. In less than two days, Sonny's marrying Miranda.
Brenda:Things have changed.
Luke:You, of course, are talking about your little roll in the hay with 
Sonny.
Brenda:He told you.
Luke:Yep. Consider yourself lucky you had him one last time. Because it 
was the last time. He only had sex with you because of the dirty trick 
the wonder from downunder pulled on him. But now he knows the truth, 
he's spending some quality time with Miranda before they become husband 
and wife.
Brenda:He'll never marry her.
Luke:Are you planning to stop it by revealing Sonny had sex with you?
Brenda:I won't have to. Sonny will call off the weddding, all by 
himself.
Luke:Boy, you're living in a fantasy world.
Brenda:Hardly. When Sonny and I made love we didn't use protection. And 
it was the perfect time of the month for me to become pregnant.(she 
caresses her stomach)Right now, I could be carrying Sonny's child. And 
if it's true he'll never marry Miranda. He'll marry me.
Luke:It's probably too soon for you to even tell.
Brenda:Wrong. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow to find out, so 
I'll know well before the wedding.
Luke:Even if you are pregnant, that doesn't mean it's Sonny's. It's more 
likely Baywatch Boy's.
Brenda:Because of all the tricks Ned pulled, Jax and I haven't made love 
in weeks. No, if I'm pregnant, there's no doubt Sonny's the father.

The Plaza Hotel, New York:
Miranda(and Sonny enter. Miranda puts her arms around him)Sonny, this 
has been the best day I've ever spent. I loved the tour of your old 
neighborhood, the carriage ride in Central Park, I even enjoyed ice 
skating at Rockerfeller Center. Eventhough I spent more time falling 
than I did skating.
Sonny:At least you have an excuse. You've never been skating before. I 
guess ice skating isn't like bike riding. It's doesn't come back to you. 
My backside is going to be covered in bruises by morning.
Miranda:Oh, poor baby. And it's such a nice backside, too.(she shivers)
Sonny:Cold? Let me warm you up.(he puts his arms around her)
Miranda:Sorry, hotstuff, this isn't working. You're shivering more than 
me. I've got a great idea. Let's take a bubblebath together. Sonny, 
what's wrong? You just got the strangest look on your face.
Sonny:It's nothing, sweetheart. Why don't you draw the bath while I 
check-in with Luke. Then I'll join you.
Miranda(kisses him)Don't take too long.
Sonny:I won't.(his smile disappears as the bathdoor closes and he goes 
over to the phone)Hi, Luke, it's me.
Luke:How's it going.
Sonny:Perfectly. I did as you suggested and it worked like a charm.
Luke:You don't sound happy about it.
Sonny:Luke, I feel like such a phony. Miranda thinks I'm wonderful for 
thinking so spending a romantic holiday in New York before we marry. But 
the truth is the one reason I'm in New York is  to keep Miranda away 
from Brenda so she won't get a chance to reveal to Miranda that I 
cheated on her. And that's not the half of it.
Luke:What else?
Sonny:I can't stop thinking about Brenda. All it takes is Miranda making 
an innocent comment or gesture and I remember how it felt to be with 
Brenda again.
Luke:Partner, are you saying you don't love Miranda anymore.
Sonny:No, I love her with all my heart, but I also love Brenda...loved 
Brenda...love...loved...I'm not even sure which it is, anymore. Damn 
Jax! this is all his fault. I had everything clear in my mind. Brenda 
was my past and Miranda was my future. Now because of what Jax did all 
those old feelings for Brenda have been stirred up again.
Luke:Partner, that's guilt talking. It's understandable you'd be 
confused. You say you love them both. But do you love one more than the 
other.
Sonny:I don't know. They're two very different loves. Brenda was like a 
fire in my blood, while Miranda speaks to my soul. And both loves are 
equally strong and powerful. Luke, all through my marriage to Lily, I 
never stopped wanting Brenda. I won't do that to another woman. If I 
still want Brenda, how can I go through with marrying Miranda?
Luke:Sonny, don't screw up your future because Brenda's good at 
scratching your itch.
Miranda(calls from the bathroom)Baby, the water's getting cold.
Sonny:Look, Luke, I've got to go. Miranda's calling me.(he hangs up the 
phone)

Luke's Club:
Luke:Sonny...
Jason:(enters)Was that Sonny?
Luke(hangs up the phone)Yeah.
Jason:Did you tell him Brenda stopped by and she thinks she might be 
pregnant?
Luke:Hell no. Sonny's got enough problems. He doesn't need this added to 
his plate.
Jason:But what if she's really pregnant.
Luke:Do we both agree that Miranda is better for Sonny than Brenda ever 
was.
Jason:Yeah.
Luke:Then  I want us to agree on something else. Even if Brenda turns 
out to be pregnant, we make sure Sonny doesn't find out until after he 
marries Miranda.
Jason:Luke, I can't do that.
Luke:If Sonny finds out, he won't go through with marrying Miranda. 
He'll marry Brenda instead and that could be disasterous for him. Are 
you forgetting he has manic depression. Sonny's relationship with Brenda 
was at best, tempestuous. Don't you think that kind of relationship 
could aggravate his condition? But Sonny's relationship with Miranda is 
just he opposite. So what do you say, Jason? For Sonny's sake, will you 
keep quiet about Brenda until after Sonny's safely married?
Jason(reluctantly)All right, I'll do it for Sonny's sake.

Wyndemere:
Mrs. Lansbury(opens the door to Brenda)Yes, may I help you.
Brenda:I want to see Mr. Corinthos.
Mrs. Lansbury:He's not here, Miss.
Brenda:(pushes her way in)Don't lie to me. I know he's here. Sonny! Get 
down here! I'm not leaving until I see you.
Mrs. Lansbury:Mr. Corinthos isn't here, miss. He's out of town.
Jax:She's telling the truth.
Brenda:Jax!
Jax:I'll handle this, Mrs. Lansbury.
Mrs. Lansbury:Thank you, sir.(she exits)
Brenda:Jax, this isn't how it looks.
Jax:No, I'm sure it isn't anymore than it was when I saw you and 
Corinthos in bed.
Brenda:What!
Jax:Please don't try to deny it. Maybe this will refresh your memory.(in 
falsetto voice)Oh, baby, no one can make me burn the way you do. Touch 
me in that spot only you know about.
Brenda:Jax, I can explain.
Jax:Save it. I'm through playing the fool for you. It's over. When Sonny 
marries Mirander, don't expect me to pick you up off the ground.
Brenda:Look, Jax, I never asked you to. That was your idea. You're the 
one who followed me around like a devoted puppy dog wanting to do 
everything for me. You knew I loved Sonny when we first met, but you 
chose to ignore it. I never forced you to do anything you did. It was 
your choice.
Jax:Well, it's over. I'm done playing the fool(Brenda heads to the 
door)Brender, wait!
Brenda:What is it?
Jax:I know where Sonny is. He's in New York with Mirander. They're 
staying at the Plaza Hotel.
Brenda(rushes back to him and kisses him on the cheek)Jax, I'll never 
forget you for this.(she runs out the door)
Jax(smirking)Let's hope Sonny doesn't either.
