Roof of Wyndemere:
Alexis(approaches as Helena is looking through the lens of a 
telescope)Aunt Helena, I didn't know you were into star-gazing.
Helena:I'm not. This place isn't wired with cameras like the compound in 
Greece and I can't go to the control room to see what the family is up 
to. This is the only way I can keep tabs on everyone.
Alexis:Who are you watching?
Helena:Isabella and her Brooklyn peasant. I thought we'd have that old 
chapel on the island refurbished and the ceremony could take place 
there.
Alexis:Why are you so anxious for that marriage to take place.
Helena:Sonny Corinthos is Luke's best friend. More than that. Luke 
thinks of him as a brother. Having to watch us turn him into a Cassadine 
will kill Luke. It'll be almost as good as turning the Spencer chit into 
a Cassadine.
Alexis:You make us sound like a pack of vampires and we're going to make 
Sonny Corinthos one of the living dead.
Helena:Some people think we are.
Alexis:Why are you so sure Sonny can be converted.
Helena:Because he was abused as a child, there's still a part of him 
that feels like a helpless little boy and he needs power to make that 
helpless feeling go away. We can use the power of being a Cassadine to 
seduce him into becoming one of us.(she turns the telescope)Oh, there's 
the Spencer chit. Alexis, I've been wondering about Stefan's true 
feelings for her.
Alexis:She was just a means to an end.
Helena:I'm no longer so sure about that. I'm thinking about the way he 
reacted when he learned she drugged him. He could have turned the saved 
the situation and managed to turn things around. But instead he acted 
very UnStefanlike, threw a fit and threw her out.
Alexis:Stefan's been very UnStefanlike ever since he became involved 
with Katherine Bell.
Helena:That's another thing. His involvement with this Bell creature 
came right on the heels of Laura's "death" We all know how obsessed he 
was with Luke's wife. I think Stefan transferred his obsession for Laura 
on to this Bell creature. It would be just like a man to be so obsessed 
with one woman he doesn't realize he's really in love with another one.
Alexis:Well, there's no way to find out if that's true.
Helena:Oh, I think there is and I intend to find out if it's true. 
Because if it is, it could interfere with my plans to regain my power.
Alexis:Has Stefan made his choice yet?
Helena:No, he still refuses to make a decision between the family and 
the Bell creature. I may have to do something to force his hand. But 
first I must know his true feelings for Bobbie Spencer.

Quartermaine Mansion:
Edward:Well, since the committee meeting plan worked so well, what 
should we do next?
Ned:Tell us again what happened?
Edward:Jax went to the boardroom where the meeting was being helf and 
stormed away a few minutes later in a huff. Then I went to peek in the 
room and I saw Sonny pushing Brenda away from him.
Ned:Brenda is making this easy for us. I never even hoped Jax would see 
Sonny and Brenda kissing.
Alan:It seems like luck is on our side.
Edward:You didn't answer my question? What are we going to do next?
Ned:I think we should put a picture of Sonny and Brenda in the paper 
together just to rub Jax's nose in it. We could give the press a story 
about how the supermodel and the former mob boss are working together to 
honor their friend Stone Cates. And I know the perfect picture to use. 
It was taken in Puerto Rico. Brenda's wearing a bikini and Sonny has his 
shirt open. It's very suggestive.

Luke's Club:
Carly(enters)Well, Uncle Luke, I've come to give you a progress report. 
I let Nikolas see me au naturel, then I dropped by his room in my most 
skimpiest nighties to make sure I hadn't made him uncomfortable. This is 
going to be a piece of cake.
Luke:We may have to rethink out plan.
Carly:Excuse me.
Luke:Something unexpected has come home. Helena Cassadine claims the 
little bastard is mine.
Carly:The old bat is probably making it up because she suspects I"m 
after the kid. You're not buying this, are you?
Luke:No, not without proof. But until I know one way or the other I want 
you to hold back.
Carly:Luke, I got that kid all warmed up and you want me to cool him 
off, now? Then if it turns out that the old crone has made all this up 
you expect me to get him all hot and bothered again. Luke, that kid may 
be naive, but he's not stupid. If I'm hot one minute and cold the next 
he's going to get suspicious.
Luke:I didn't say to cool him off, just don't consummate things until I 
know the truth. In fact, it you keep the heat turned up, it may be 
easier for me to find out the truth.
Carly:What if he is your kid?
Luke:Then we'll just come up with another plan. In fact, I'm already 
working on it.

Wyndemere:
Mrs. Lansbury:Mr. Spencer to see you, Madame.
Helena:Ah, Luke, dahling, what took you so long. You may leave us, Mrs. 
Lansbury.
Luke:You were expecting me.
Helena:Of course, I'm sure you want proof that Nikolas is yours.
Luke(lighting a cigar)You got that right.
Helena:Since a doctor of my choice would be suspect, you pick and doctor 
you trust and we'll arrange a paternity test. Will that satisfy you.
Luke:What about the kid? He'll agree to this.
Helena:There's no need for him to know. I'll think of an excuse for him 
to go to the doctor of your choice so the paternity test can be done 
without his knowledge.
Luke:We'll have Tony Jones conduct the test. I'll explain everything to 
him. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll go and find Sonny.

Jax's Penthouse;
Jax(crumbles up the newspaper featuring a picture of Sonny and Brenda 
and throws it in the trash. Then he goes to answer the door)Yes, may I 
help you?
Reporter:I work for the Port Charles Herald and we'd like your comment 
on our story on Miss Barrett and Mr. Corinthos. Do you feel threatened 
about them working together? Are you afraid Miss Barrett will dump you 
again for Mr. Corinthos?
Jax:Get out!
Reporter:Our sources tell us you've threatened Mr. Corinthos. Will you 
carry out your threats?
Jax(shoves her out the door)If you bother me again, I'll have you 
arrested for harrassment.(he slams the door in her face)
Ned(comes up to  her)Good work, Janine.
Reporter:You owe me, Ned.
Ned:How about dinner tonight?
Reporter:Deal, and maybe you'll explain to me why you wanted me to do 
that?
Ned:Jax was partially responsible for the break up of my marriage. Let's 
just say I wanted to give him a little bit of his own back.

Wyndemere:
Sonny:Laura and Stefan? I can't believe it. Maybe the tape was faked.
Luke:I thought about that. I had a friend of mind check it out. The 
tape's for real.
Sonny:And you really think the old lady was on the level about the kid 
being yours?
Luke:Will know the truth once my doc-ex-bro-in-law performs the test.
Sonny:What are you going to do about Laura and Stefan?
Luke:I'm going to destroy Cassadine, as for Laura, I  haven't decided 
yet, but I'm going to need your help.
Sonny:Anything.
Luke:I need you to help me take the mob over from Jason.
Sonny:Luke, I can't do that. If it wasn't for Jason, I wouldn't be 
alive. He went to the church and lied to everyone about why I wasn't 
coming and he took all the abuse they handed out to him. Jason has done 
so much for me I can never repay him. I'd do anything for you, Luke, but 
anything but betray Jason. Why do you even want to control the mob, 
anyway.
Luke:If I'm going to destroy Cassadine, I need a powerbase. I need to 
level the playing field. Right now, I'm like David going up against 
Goliath. How is a nightclub owner supposed to take down the head of one 
of the most powerful families in the world.
Sonny:Luke, what about Laura. You promised her you'd stay away from the 
mob.
Luke:That was before I learned she had a kid she never told me about and 
that she slept with the Count. Any promises I made to her, I no longer 
feel obliged to keep.
Sonny:Luke, I trained Jason. I wanted to make sure he was equipped to 
handle anything that was thrown at him. I taught him to kill anyone who 
tried to take his power away from him. If you try to take control of the 
mob away from him, he'll kill you to stop you.
Luke:Not if I kill him first.
Sonny:Luke! You wouldn't really harm him, would you?
Luke:Sonny, the rules of the game have changed. I'll do whatever I have 
to do to destroy Cassadine.

Helena's Bedroom:
Helena:Has everything been arranged, Yanni?
Yanni:Yes, Madame, I'll follow Mrs. Cassadine when she leaves the house 
and when I see Mr. Cassadine coming, I will cause her to have an 
accident.
Helena(smiles)Very good, Yanni.
