Stefan:(closes the study door behind them)Now, Barbara, I know you have every reason to be upset, but you need to remember she's your daughter. Bobbie:Don't preach to me about family. I want to know why you brought her here. Was it some new way to torture me? Stefan:Barbara, where's your compassion. That poor girl has lost everything. Dr. Jones. Her baby. Even her job. And I feel responsible for what's happened to her. The least I can do is offer her a place to stay. Bobbie:My heart bleeds for her. So you feel guilty, do you? To feel guilty, you'd need a conscience and we both know you don't have one. The little tramp has something on you, doesn't she? Stefan:Barbara, you should take this opportunity to forge a new and better relationship with Miss Roberts. Bobbie:I'll tell you what I"m gonna. I'm going to take the opportunity to find out what the little tramp has on you, so I can use it against you to get out of this zoo. That's what I'm gonna do. Mountainview Country Inn: Jason:Sonny, this is Mr. Peters, the justice of the peace. He'll be performing the ceremony. Sonny(shakes his hand)Mr. Peters. Peters:Mr. Corinthos, I thought we'd go over the details of the ceremony. Sonny:Miranda and I want a simple ceremony. No flowery hand-written vows. Just the basic "til death do us part" ceremony. Peters:Who'll be standing up for you? Sonny:Jason, here and Luke Spencer, for me. They're both my best friends and they'll both be serving as best man. Katherine Bell will be standing up for Miranda as maid of honor and Robin Scorpio and Felicia Jones will be bridesmaids. And Mac Scorpio will be giving the bride away. We'll also be having a few guests, amongst them my father. Peters:Where would you like the ceremony to take place? Sonny(looks around the room)How about in front of the fireplace? Miranda could walk down the stairs and maybe the room could be lit by candlelight. Peters:(smiles his approval)That should be very romantic. Would you prefer the reception held in here or in the dining room? Sonny:The dining room. Then they'll be plenty of room to dance the first dance. Jason:The bakery has already delivered the wedding cake and the florist the flowers. And Luke's bringing the food and champagne from the club. Sonny:Well, it sounds like we've got everything covered. Hopefully, this wedding will go more smoothly than the last one. Jason:Don't worry, Sonny, nothing is going to go wrong this time. Wyndemere: Mrs. Lansbury:Brenda Barrett to see you, sir. Brenda(enters)Mr. Cassadine, you've got to come with me right this minute. Stefan:Miss Barrett, I don't have to do anything. I fired Miss Jameson, which is what you'd hope I'd do when you came to see me, so we have no further business with each other. Brenda:Sonny and Miranda are getting married, tonight, and the Mountainview Country Inn and afterwards they're leaving town and we've got to stop them. Stefan:and why would I want to do that? Brenda:Because Miranda is your sister. Stefan:You don't say. And how did you stumbe upon this information. Brenda:I got an anonymous phone call. He told me Miranda was really Isabella Cassadine and to come here and tell you because you'd want to stop them from getting married and leaving town. Stefan:And did this anonymous phone caller offer you any proof? Brenda:No, but... Stefan:What kind of fool do you take me for. There was on phone call. You're making the whole thing up. I've met women like you before. Women who just aren't satisfied with only one man. I don't know how you learned about Isabella, but you obviously thought I'd be so desperate for news of my sister, I'd believe whatever you said without question and help you stop your ex-lover from getting married. Get out before I have you thrown out. Brenda:Look, if you come with me to Miranda's hotel room, I'm sure we could find something that proves she's Isabella. Stefan:You expect me to rummage through Miss Jameson's things like some sneek thief. You obviously don't know who you're talking to. Miss Barrett, you're really beginning to annoy me. I think it's time I show you how I deal with annoyances.(he picks up the phone)Yanni, come in here, please. There's someone I want you to escort off the island. Mountainview Country Inn: Felicia:Miranda, you look beautiful. And that wedding gown is exquisite. Miranda:It belonged to Sonny's mother. My wedding gown was ruined, thanks to Brenda and Sonny remembered he had his mother's wedding gown in storage. It was a perfect fit. Kat:It looks like it was made for you. Well, that takes care of the something old. What about new, borrowed and blue? Miranda:New are these diamond earrings Sonny gave me and blue is my garter. I don't have anything borrowed, though. Robinn:I do. This is the mantilla my mother wore at her first wedding to my father in Italy. You can wear it as your veil. Miranda:(adjusts the lace on top her head)Well then, I guess I'm all set. Quartermaine Mansion: Edward:All right, now that we've got the gun and Jax's cuff-links, when do we make an attempt on Sonny's life? Ned:We need to leave no doubt in the police's mind that Jax is guilty. We need to manipulate Jax and Sonny into having a public altercation. You know how Jax loves to blow off his mouth and make threats. To act like he's this big mean hombre that no one had better cross. And you know the way Sonny always treats Jax like some insignificant insect. If we can just get them in the same room together, that's all it'll take. Sonny will give Jax one of his smirks that says, "You're a big nothing" and Jax will start making threats and there'll be witnesses to testify against Jax when someone tries to kill Sonny. Edward:That sounds like a done deal to me. But there's just one problem. How are we going to get them together in public for everyone to hear them fighting and Jax making threats? Alan:I have an idea. We're having the opening for the Stone Cates Memorial Wing. We could ask Sonny to cut the ribbon. Brenda, would no doubt, insist upon being there and where Brenda is, Jax isn't far behind. Edward:Alan, my boy, that's brilliant. Ned:With everyone saying something nice about Sonny, it'll really put Jax's nose out of joint. He'll just be aching for a fight. The least little thing will set him off. Edward:And all through the ribbon-cutting ceremony when Sonny is in the spotlight, Jax will have to bite his tongue to keep from mouthing off. It'll be driving him crazy not to be able to put Sonny down. I really think this can work. Ned:It will work. One innocent look between Sonny and Brenda and Jax will start threatening to destroy Sonny and then we'll have him right where we want him. Brenda(enters)Ned, you're not going to believe what just happened to me. Oh, hello, Edward. Alan. Ned:What happened? Brenda:Stefan Cassadine threw me off his island. Can you believe that? He threw ME off his island. And that's not all. He said if I come back he'd have me shot on sight. Ned:Why would he do that? Brenda:I don't know. I was just trying to do him a favor. I told him Sonny was marrying his sister, tonight, at the Mountainview Country Inn and afterwards they were planning to leave town. Ned, Alan and Edward(at the same time)Sonny's leaving town! Ned:(takes Brenda's arm and leads her to the door)I'm really sorry you can't stay longer.(he opens the door and shoves her through it) Brenda:Ned...(he slams the door in her face) Edward:What are we going to do? If Sonny leaves town it'll ruin everything. Ned:We've got to stop that wedding. Mountainview Country Inn: Mike(watches as Sonny stands in front of the mirror tying his tie)Michael, tell me about your breakdown. Sonny(looks at him in the mirror)Why would you bring something like that up a few minutes before I'm about to get married? Mike:It may be my last chance to find out. Sonny:Pop, it's not going to be like last time. You'll know where I am. We'll stay in contacat and you'll come to spend the holidays with Miranda and I. Mike:Just humor me. I'm curious. Sonny:Oh, all right. I was in Louisana on this riverboat gambling at the roulette wheel. I don't know why, but I got this idea in my head that no matter what number I picked, I'd win. When I kept losing, I didn't take it well. The more I lost, the angrier I got. I accused the roulette operator of cheating me. When the security guards came, I became convinced they were working for Reese and were planning to kill me and I got violent. The subdued me and I was taken to the hospital where I became convinced everyone was in on a big conspiracy with Reese. They put me in restraints and after they gave me lithium, I started coming back to myself. End of story. No big deal. Mike:Michael, doesn't that tell you something. If you don't have manic depression, why did the lithium help you? Sonny:Mike, don't...Not on my wedding day. Mike:Michael, I want you to have a happy life and I'm afraid if you don't admit you have a problem, you won't. Jason(enters)It's time. Is everything all right. Sonny:Everything's fine.
