Carly's Hospital Room:
Stefan:Miss Roberts, I don't know what you're talking about.
Carly:(holds up his Cassadine medallion)I pulled this off the man who 
tried to kill me. Do you recognize it?
Stefan(brings his hand up to his neck)All right, Miss Roberts, what do 
you want? Since you didn't tell the police, I can only assume you intend 
to use this situation to your advantage.
Carly:You assume right. First off, I want to know why you tried to kill 
mee.
Stefan:I didn't try to kill you, I only made it look that way. I didn't 
even leave a mark on your neck. Trust me, Miss Roberts, if I wanted you 
dead, you'd be dead.
Carly:Then why did you make it look like you were trying to kill me.
Stefan:I lost the hold I had over Barbara when I revealed Luke knew all 
along you were her daughter. So I needed a new way to keep her under my 
thumb. I dressed in surgical scrubs, waited until I saw Mrs. Benson 
heading to your room, made it look like I was trying to strangle you and 
dropped Barbara's earring as I was fleeing. Making Barbara a prime 
suspect and needing me to provide an alibi for her.
Carly:And needing her to provide one for you in return. Man, you're some 
piece of work.
Stefan:You're hardly one to judge, Miss Roberts. So tell me what it is 
you want. I'd like to be home in time for dinner.
Carly:Don't you even feel guilty about what you've done to my life.
Stefan:No more than you did about what you did to Barbara's life.
Carly:I had everything and you took it all away from me. It's all your 
fault I lost Tony and my baby. And I'm going to make you pay for it.
Stefan:Miss Roberts, you built your life out of a house of cards that 
would have eventually come tumbling down around your head. I just gave 
it a little push. I refuse to take responsibility for this. You only 
have yourself to blame.
Carly:It's your fault I lost my baby. That Tony has washed his hands of 
me. I had everything and you took it all away from me. I don't even have 
a job, anymore. Edward Quartermaine fired me. And I'm going to make you 
pay for it. That's why I didn't tell Garcia I know it was you who 
attacked me. You see, you may have Bobbie under your thumb, but I have 
you under mine. I'm not like that stupid bimbo, Katherine Bell. I'm not 
going to fall for you and let you off the hook. If you don't do exactly 
as I say, I'm going to send your blue-blooded butt to prison.

Port Charles Hotel Lobby:
Ned(looking at his watch)Where is he? He was supposed to meet us her 
over three hours ago.
Alan:I told you it was a mistake to let father handle this. He's getting 
too old for this kind of thing.
Ned:Grandfather got the short straw and we agreed short straw did it. 
What choice did I have.
Alan:You were holding the straws. You could have made sure father didn't 
get the short one.
Ned:Oh, look, here he is now.(Ned takes in Edward's messy 
appearance)Grandfather, you're a mess.
Alan:Father, what happened to you?
Edward:Don't start with me. I've just been through hell. I was trapped 
under the bed while tweedle-dum and tweedle-dummer were having sex. It 
was like Pee-Wee's Playhouse meets Long Dong Silver. You told me the 
penthouse was empty, you dope.
Ned:The desk clerk told me Jax and Brenda left. If you'd gotten in there 
a little quicker you wouldn't have had a problem.
Edward:Well, excuse me. When you phoned me I was in the middle of firing 
Carly Roberts. I couldn't just drop everything and rush right over here.
Alan:Father, the woman just had a miscarriage. Couldn't you have let it 
wait.
Edward:Why should I? Did she show AJ any mercy when she drugged him, 
dumped him in an alley and poured booze all over him?
Ned:Who cares about Carly Roberts. She's not important. Let's stick to 
what is. Did you get the gun.
Edward(pulls back his jacket to reveal the gun stuck in the waistband of 
his pants)I also snatched these on the way out.(he hands Ned one of 
Jax's cuff links.)I thought after I take a shot at Sonny, I'd drop one 
of these at the scene of the crime to implicate Jax.
Ned:Good thinking, Grandfather.(he examines the cuff link)Who but Jax 
would wear a cuff link that spells out his name.
Edward:Come on, Ned, you shouldn't be surprised. The way the guy's 
always saying, "I'm Jax" you gotta know he loves his name.
Alan:You know what I don't understand. We've got two crime bosses in our 
family. Why don't we let them do our dirty work for us.
Edward:Jason is out of the question. He knows how you feel about Sonny. 
He saw you try to run him down. You don't really think he's going to buy 
you were only pretending to try and hit Sonny with a car to frame Jax, 
do you? Alan, you've got to get it through your head that brain damaged 
doesn't mean stupid.
Ned:And as for mother, all Jax would have to do is bare his chest or 
wiggle his behind and she'd go over to his side. No, it's for the best 
that we handle this ourself.

Luke's Club:
Jason(enters)I've got everything arranged. You and Miranda will be 
getting married tonight at a quiet little country inn. The proprietor is 
also a justice of the peace.
Sonny:I don't know what I'd do without you.
Jason:There's something you should know. I finally traced the car that 
tried to run you down. It belongs to Jax.
Sonny:Jax is "SEXGOD"? Why am I not surprised he'd have a license plate 
like that. I can't believe he tried to kill me.
Jason:You don't think he's capable of it?
Sonny:Of course, I think he's capable of it, I just don't think he has 
the guts to do it. He's really good about mouthing off about how he's 
going to destroy or kill me, but that's just to hear the sound of his 
own voice. When it comes to actually sullying his lily-white hands, he 
usually gets someone else to do his dirty work for him.
Jason:What do you want me to do about him?
Sonny:Nothing. Miranda and I are leaving town. Let's just let this go.
Jason:Sonny, the guy acts like he owns the whole town. He's begging to 
be taken down a peg. Why not let me give him what he's got coming.
Sean(enters)May I talk to you for a moment in private?
Sonny:We'll finish discussing this later.(Jason leaves)What do you want, 
Donely?
Sean:I understand you're planning to leave town.
Sonny:What do you have my phone bugged?
Sean:What about Robert and Anna? How can you do this to Robin?
Sonny:I told Luke about the Scorpios. He found Leslie Webber, he'll find 
them, if what you say is true. As Luke pointed out to me, I only have 
your word that Robert and Anna are alive. You've shown me no proof. It 
could just be a trick to get me to work for you.
Sean:What about my investigation?
Sonny:That's not my problem.
Sean:I'm not going to just let you leave town. You're my best tool to 
take down the House of Cassadine for once and for all.
Sonny:There's nothing you can do to stop me. You no longer have any hold 
over me.
Sean:We'll see about that.(He leaves. Once outside he takes out his cell 
phone)Miss Barrett, you don't know me. I thought you'd like to know that 
Sonny Corinthos is planning to leave Port Charles with Miranda Jameson. 
But I know how you can stop them.

Wyndemere:
Bobbie(meets Stefan as he enters)Oh, Stefan, there you are. I was just 
about to tell Mrs. Lansbury to hold dinner for you.(Carly enters behind 
him)What is she doing here?
Carly:Shall I tell her, Stepdaddy, or should you?
Stefan:Barbara, I've invited Miss Roberts to live with us.
