The Docks: Sonny:We don't have anything to say to each other. Brenda:How can you say that. The the last time I saw you we were about to get married. Sonny:Then I sent Jason to lie to you about why I wasn't going to show up, you believed him and a week or so later you shacked up with Jax, again. End of story. What more is there to say. Brenda:We need to talk about why you did what you did. Sonny:Why? What purpose will it serve. It won't change anything. When you believed I left you at the altar without a good reason for doing so you proved to me what I always said about you is true. You don't know or understand me and you never did. Otherwise you would have known I had a damn good reason for what I did. Brenda:That's not fair. What was I supposed to think when you didn't show up. Sonny:Oh, I don't know. I told you even if you didn't want to go on the run with me, I had to leave. A few days before the wedding I came home all beaten up. How about my decision had something to do with trouble with the mob? Brenda:How was I supposed to know that. You told me to trust you and not ask any questions. Sonny:Some things are obvious without having to be told about them. If you come hom beaten, you got a problem. Duh! Brenda:I can't believe you're acting like the victim. You're the one who left me, remember. Sonny:And you're the one who believed the lies about why I did it without question. If our situations were reversed I wouldn't have. Do you know on my way to the airport I turned around because deep down inside I didn't really believe you'd believe what I had Jason say to you about me. You see, I thought you knew me too well and you'd know no matter what Jason said, that I had a good reason for what I did. What a laugh. Brenda:What would you have done if I hadn't believed Jason? Sonny:We'll never know, will we, because you did. Look, whatever I would or wouldn't have done doesn't matter anymore because it's over between us. Brenda:No, you're wrong, Sonny, it's not over between us. It'll never be over between us. There's something you don't know and I need to tell you. Sonny:I don't want to hear it. Whatever it is it won't change one simple fact. You and I are no good for each other. Look at the recent past. I left you at the altar and you lead hitmen to me. Let's just cut our losses and walk away while were both still in one piece. Brenda:And I suppose Miranda is good for you. She's done nothing but lie to you. Sonny:She also helped me get my life back together when I didn't even want to get out of bed in the morning. I'm not going to let myself be sucked back into this relationship again. We're both engaged to other people now. You to Jax and me to Miranda. Just because we live in the same town doesn't mean we have to have anything to do with each other. In fact, I think it's for the best if we pretend we don't even know each other if we run into each other in future. Brenda:What's the matter, Sonny? Do you still burn for me the way I burn for you? Sonny:Goodbye, Brenda.(he walks away into the night without looking back) Brenda:It'll never be over between us, Sonny. And I'll never let Miranda have you. Never. The Cemetery: Bobbie(approaches BJ's grave. Tony's sitting on the ground by it.)I thought I'd find you here. Tony:Have you come to tell me I told you so? I don't know how many times you tried to warn me about her, but I just wouldn't listen. I turned both a blind eye and deaf ear to everything she did. Bobbie:No. I came to tell you Carly's in the hospital. Tony, I'm sorry, she suffered a miscarriage after you left. Tony:It's strange, but I don't even feel anything. All I can think of is that it's for the best. Isn't that horrible. Before you came I was wondering how my child would turn out with her for a mother, now I guess I'll never know. Bobbie:Tony, your baby would have turned out fine, because he would have had you for a father. You were a wonderful father to BJ and you raised a wonderful little girl. Tony:Why did I do it, Bobbie? We had a great life together and I threw it away all for Carly. I believed every lie she told me and kept going back for more. Bobbie:Tony, she's good. She had me fooled for awhile, too. You're a good man and you think everyone is as good and decent as you are. People who are genuinely good are always the easiest to take advantage of by people like Carly. You shouldn't blame yourself. Tony:Well, I'm not feeling very good at the moment. I've dedicated my life to saving people, but if I hadn't gotten out of that apartment when I did, I think I would have killed her. Bobbie:I know what you mean. That makes me a great mother, doesn't it? A mother's supposed to love her child no matter what, no want to kill her. But after everything she's done to me, there's no way I can ever have any kind of relationship with Carly Roberts. Wyndemere: Alexis:Nikolas just filled me in on tonights festivities. You really outdid yourself, this time, cousin. Stefan:I told you I'd destroy Barbara's relationship with her brother, didn't I? Alexis:Yes, you did. But you may have just outsmarted yourself. Stefan:What's that supposed to mean? Alexis:Your only hold over Bobbie was her desire to protect her brother. Now that's gone, you no longer have any hold over her. I wouldn't be surprised if Bobbie wasn't already planning to divorce you. Since, thanks to you, Dr. Jones and his pregnant girlfriend are history, Tony and Bobbie might even get back together. Stefan:I won't let that happen. Quartermaine Mansion: Ned(approaches Alan and Edward with three straws in his hand)Now, whichever one of us gets the short straw takes the passkey to Jax's penthouse, slips in, steals his gun and takes a shot at Sonny. Alan:Jax has a gun? Ned:You seem surprised? Alan:I am. What would he do with a gun? Pay someone to shoot it for him? Ned:Who cares? He has one and we need it if our plan's to work. Monica:(enters)What are you three up to? Edward:We're drawing straws to see who takes a potshot at Sonny. Monica:Well, when you draw straws to see who kills Carly Roberts, count me in. Ned:What have you got against her. Monica:I guess you haven't heard the latest. That amoral, sociopathic slut is Bobbie's daughter. That means she came to this town for the sole purpose of breaking up Tony and Bobbie's marriage to get back at Bobbie. Ned:Monica, I know you and Bobbie are friends, but don't you think you're taking this a little too personally. Edward(narrows his eyes on Monica)You're holding out on us, Monica. What aren't you telling us? Monica:I hate it when you do that. All right, there's something I haven't told you. AJ didn't fall off the wagon. Carly Roberts drugged him, dumped him in the alley and pulled booze all over him to make it look like he had. Edward:What! Ned:Why would she do something like that. Alan:Why wasn't I told about this. Monica:I'll answer Alan first. Alan, you were having so much fun bashing AJ, I didn't want to ruin your fun. As for why she did it, Carly claims she did it because AJ's her friend. Edward:What! Monica:Edward, stop saying that. Ned:That doesn't make sense. Monica:I'm sure it does to a sick and twisted individual like Carly Roberts. Edward:No one does something like that to a Quartermaine and gets away with it. She's going to pay for this. Monica(looks at Alan)Alan, Carly Roberts is laying in a hospital bed, as we speak. If you want to drop by her room and hold a pillow over her face, I wouldn't stop you. Carly's Hospital Room: Carly(lays in her bed sleeping as someone dressed in surgical scrubs slips in her room. A pair of hands wearing surgical gloves yanks the tubing out of the IV bottle, then begins to slowly wrap the tubing around Carly's neck) To be continued ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
