Sonny's Room, General Hospital:
Alan:(starts to lower the pillow over Sonny's face)
Mike:(enters)What are you doing?
Alan:(drops the pillow to the floor without Mike noticing)I was just checking on him to make sure he's okay.
Mike:Really? Considering the way you feel about my son, I'd think you'd neglect him in hopes he'd stop breathing.
Alan:I'm a doctor, after all. It's my duty to heal the sick no matter how I feel about them personally.
Sonny(wakes up)What's going on?
Mike(smiles)Michael, you're finally awake. Jason told me you work-up earlier, but when I got back from getting coffee you were asleep again.
Alan:I'll leave you two alone.(he pauses at the door to glance at the pillow laying on the floor, then leaves)
Sonny:What was he doing here?
Mike:Who cares. What matters is you're awake and you're going to be, all right.
Sonny:You actually sound glad to see me.
Mike:I am. I never thought I'd see you again. I know that you had a good reason for whatever you
did. Besides, who am I to judge when I did the very same thing to you.
Sonny:If anything good came out of this mess, it's I now understand why you did what you did. Sometimes when you feel if you stay all you're going to do is end up hurting someone, the only thing you can do is leave.
Mike:Michael, that afternoon at Luke's, we started something and I'd like to continue it. That day I got my son back and I want a second chance ata being a father to you. When you're released from the hospital will you come home and live with me?
Sonny:You know that platter you gave me? I've taken it everywhere with me. Yeah, I'd like that, pop.
Port Charles County Jail:
Stefan:Alexis, where have you been?
Alexis:I had to go out of town to see a client.
Stefan:How long will it take you to get these charges against me dropped?
Alexis:I may not be ablae to. Were not just dealing with your word against Katherine Bell's. There's Nikolas. And what if Luke Spencer gets Leslie Webber to testify against you.
Stefan:Lasha will never allow that to happen. Trust me on that.
Alexis:Well, what about Lucky Spencer.
Stefan:There's no way for Spencer's spawn or anyone else to prove I was the one playing Timoria with him.
Alexis:Speaking of the Spencers, where's your bride? Out celebrating with her brother?
Stefan:Barbara's off clearing me. She says she can get me out of this mess in exchange for a divorce.
Alexis:If she does, she's a miracle worker. Did you agree to give her a divorce if she succeeds?
Stefan:I told Barbara she'd have to give an emmy winning performance and asked her if she could do it.
Alexis:You didn't answer my question. Did you agree to give Bobbie a divorce.
Stefan(smirks)I'm sure Barbara thinks so.
Dara Jensen's Office.
Dara:Come in, Bobbie. I suppose you're here about your husband. By the way, congratulations.
Bobbie:Actually, Dara, I'm here to stop you from being made a fool of by Katherine Bell.
Dara:What are you talking about.
Bobbie:Did Katherine tell you
she just remembered Stefan shooting her. Because if she did, she's lying. She told me the same thing back in June and fool that I was, I believed her.
Dara:I don't understand. If she remembered months ago, why didn't she come forward before now.
Bobbie:In one word. Stefan. The woman is obsessed with him. Just before she went to theh police, I found her in Stefan's bed naked as the day she was born. When Stefan told her we'd remarried and threw her out, she vowed she'd make him pay. And this is her way of doing it.
Dara:I'm sorry, Bobbie, I know you don't want to believe this about your husband, but I believed her. If she was lying, she was very convincing.
Bobbie:I know she's very convincing. She got me to believe her, myself. Which is why I left Stefan and divorced him. But if she's telling the truth why would she get naked in the bed of the man who shot her. I'm sure the servants must have seen her leaving wrapped in a sheet, so they can verify my story.
Dara:You said she came to you months
ago saying Stefan Cassadine shot her. Tell me what happened.
Bobbie:I was becoming suspicious about Stefan's relationship with Katherine, because Luke kept whispering in my ear that something was going on between them. In fact, I have to wonder if Luke and Katherine weren't working together to get what they wanted: Luke getting me away from Stefan; and Katherine having my husband all to herself. By the time Katherine told me her tale, Luke had me ripe for the picking by constantly planting seeds of doubt in my mind about Stefan.
Dara:So she told you Stefan shot her.
Bobbie:She made it sound like she was telling me out of concern for my safety. She told me all the times Stefan visited her in the hospital he was intimidating her into keeping quiet and she convinced me if I revealed to anyone what she told me, Stefan might kill us both. So I remained quiet.
Dara:But you remarried him.
Bobbie:I started getting suspicious by the way she acted around him at the hospital. Everytime Stefan came into a
room she'd stare at him like an Elvis fan would if the King returned from the dead and paid them a visit. But the scene at the hospital when Stefan publicly fired her, cinched it. She vowed to fight being fired for one thing. If she was so afraid of Stefan, she'd never have done that. Also Stefan told her despite wha she thought they had no relationship.
Dara:Bobbie, what you're saying is so hard to believe. That a woman would sink to sink depths to get a man.
Bobbie:It's not like it hasn't been done before. Look how Brenda Barrett stalked Sonny Corinthos. And it's not like this is the first time Katherine has played dirty to get a man. She blackmailed Ned Ashton into marrying her. And she pulled a scam on Scott Baldwin to get him to marry her so she could get her hooks into Dominique's money. You might say she's established a pattern of behavior with men.
Dara:What about Nikolas Cassadine agreeing to testify for her against his own uncle.
Bobbie:Oh, poor Nikolas, he craves a mother figure so
much, he'll look for it anywhere. And what makes it worse is he also has a crush on Katherine. She's got an unhealthy influence over him. She even convinced him to move out of Wyndemere and in with her. Just another plot to get close to Stefan, no doubt.
Dara>Thank you for coming, Bobbie, and stopping me from making a fool out of myself. I'll arrange for your husband to be released once I've verified everything you've told me.
General Hospital Nurses Station:
Amy(to Madeline/Miranda)You see that man over there? That's Dr. Tony Jones. He left his wonderful wife, Bobbie, for this little tramp named Carly Roberts.
Madeline:(laughing)Is there anyone you don't know everything about?
Amy:You, but give me time.
Jax:Amy, what room is Sonny Corinthos in?
Madeline:Don't tell him, Amy.
Jax:Excuse me, but this is none of your business.
Madeline:Oh, but it is. I was the bride at the wedding your girlfriend brought gunmen to. And I can guess why you're here. You came to tell Michael to stay away
from Ms. Vogue. Well don't bother. He's not the problem, your girlfriend is. But you don't have to worry. I did what you're obviously not man enough to do. I told her to stay away from Michael.
Jax:How dare you talk to me like this. Where do you get off. You don't even know me.
Madeline:That's where you're wrong. I know you, all right. And what I know, I don't like. Let me offer you a piece of advice, Mr. Jacks. If you want to settle for being somebody's leftovers, you'd better get used to your girlfriend constantly sniffing around the main dish.
Sonny's Room, General Hospital:
Sean:Hello, Corinthos.
Sonny:Donely, what are you doing here?
Sean:Can't I pay you a friendly visit without having any ulterior motive.
Sonny:Not you. I remember a friendly visit you paid me shortly after I left Port Charles. I was just starting to rebuild my life when you showed up on my doorstep like the grim reaper.
Sean:Did you really think the mob were the only people who'd be interested in your whereabouts when you upped and disappeared. We knew about the contract on your life and we watched and waited to see what you'd do. It fit perfectly into our plans for you when you decided to run.
Sonny:I'm sure it did. When you were police commissioner you could never get any charges to stick against me. I'm sure it gave you a sick thrill to force me to work for you by threatening to leave Reese to me, yourself.
Sean; You were too valuable a commodity to us to simply let you slip through our fingers. You could get into places our agents couldn't. If they tried to infiltrate the mob they would have stuck out like a sore thumb, but you being one of them fit right in. I don't regret basically telling you work for us or die. Without your help we would have never busted a major drug ring.
Sonny:Then I had to go and ruin everything by having a breakdown. I suppose I'm lucky when I was no longer of any use to you that you didn't gift wrap me for Reese and hand deliver me to his doorstep.
Sean:You can thank your connection to Robin for that. There were those in the bureau who wanted to terminate you. They thought because of your mental instability you could be a security risk, but because my godchild loves you for some unknown reason, I interceded on your behalf.
Sonny:God, you people are no different from the mob.
Sean:Come on, Sonny, it's not like working for the WSB was pure torture for you. Admit it, you enjoyed it. Your a danger junkie. Your abusive stepfather bred it in you. Growing up not knowing when Deke would grab you and hit you has made you not feel normal unless some element of danger is in your life. Once you were free of Deke and the danger, you hooked up with the dangerous world of the mob and if I hadn't dragged you into the WSB, you would have seeked out some other dangerous situation to fullfill your need for it.
Sonny:Spare me the psycho-analysis, Donely, and tell me why you're here.
Sean:We believe Stefan Cassadine has plans for you. Even before you got shot and were brought back to town, he was trying to locate you. We think Cassadine intends to get his claws into everyone close to Luke Spencer. Bobbie was first and you're next. We want you to play along with Cassadine and get close to him. Whatever information you should stumble upon about Cassadine, you'd naturally pass on to me and we'd take it from there.
Sonny:Naturally. But arent' you afraid I might wind up in the laughing academy, again, and blow the whole mission.
Sean:You wouldn't be working officially for the bureau. You'd be working with us in an official capacity.
Sonny:In other words, if I go dipsy-doodle again, it won't reflect badly on you and the bureau. Basically, I'd be nothing but a snitch. A stood pigeon. Forget it.
Sean:Sonny, you haven't heard everything, yet. YOu don't know the whole...
Robin(enters)Sonny...Uncle Sean, what are you doing here?
Sean:(hugs Robin)I called Mac and he said you were coming here to visit Sonny. I couldn't leave town without seeing my godchild.
Robin:How's Aunt Tiff?
Sean:Tiffany loves living in Washington. Her career is blooming. Speaking of which, the duties of the WSB bureau chief await.(before leaving, he gives Sonny a look saying they weren't finished yet)
Mac's House:
Mac(opens the door to Madeline)Can I help you?
Madeline:How's my favorite first husband?
Mac(studies her face)Miranda? It can't be? Is it you?
