Sonny's Bedroom, Bensonhurst:
Lois(laying on Sonny's chest, notices him staring up at the ceiling)What are you thinking about.
Sonny:I'm trying to rewrite the past. Make different choices then I made. Because of the choices I've made in life, I can never marry you. I shouldn't even be with you. I could be putting you and Brooke in danger if Reese and his people are able to track me down to Bensonhurst.
Lois:Look, Sonny, the only people who remember you as Sonny Corinthos are your friends and they won't tell anyone you're not really Michael Corelli. You're safe Bensonhurst.
Sonny:Don't fool yourself, Cerullo. I'm not really safe anywhere.
Lois:It's not fair. You've gotten away from those people. You're leading a completely different life. And still you can't get tht poison out of your life.
Sonny:There's really only one way out of the mob. That's in a pine box. I'd better check in with my answering service and see if I've got any messages.(he picks up the phone)Hello, Thelma, this is Mr. Corelli. Do I have any messages. Who? Thank you. (he looks at Lois)Cerullo, you're not going to believe this.
Lois:What?
Sonny:Ashton left a message for me.
Lois:Ned! Does he know.
Sonny:No, it seems he wants me to help him save ELQ. Guess who's trying to stage a coup?
Lois:Jax?
Sonny:I warned them that that corporate kangeroo would try to takeover the company, again, the first chance he got. I told them to get him off the board. And do you know what the old man told me. It was beyond my ken.(he suddenly smiles)
Lois:I know that look on your face. I've seen it since you were a little boy. And everytime you've worn it, it's always meant trouble. Just what are you thinking.
Sonny:I was just picturing the look on Candyboy's face if I were to strut into the Q mansion and pull the rug right out from under him at the very last minute just when he thinks victory is within his grasp.
Lois:Don't even think of it.
Sonny:He's trying to steal Brooke's birth right. Someone should stop him.
Lois:Well, that someone isn't going to be you. You know, you claim you've put Brenda behind you, yet you still hate Jax with a passion. You just won't let it go.
Sonny:You think it's because of Brenda? All right, I'll admit I didn't like Jax at first because I was jealous. But the more I got to know him, the less I got to like him. He's just like those spoiled rich kids from St. Swithin's Academy who thought they were better than us because they came from Long Island and we came from Brooklyn.
Lois:You're still brooding about that. Don't you ever let anything go.
Sonny:It's not just that. Candyboy has done some of the exact same things that I have, and yet he thinks he's somehow morally superior to me. I'm not going to let a chance to stick it to him just slip through my fingers. (he starts to get out of bed)I'm going back to Port Charles.
Lois(grabs Sonny by the seat of his pajama pants)Oh, no you don't.
Sonny:Let go, Cerullo.
Lois:What are you? Nuts! If you set one foot back in Port Charles you're a dead man.
Sonny:You know, Cerullo, I don't like the way you're always trying to boss me around.
Lois:No, what you don't like is that I don't let you get away with murder the way Brenda and Lily did. All you had to do was flash your dimples or give them a smoldering look and they said, "Oh, sure, Sonny, anything you want." But it doesn't work with me because I grew up with you and I'm immune. Now you listen to me and you listen good. Are you paying attention?
Sonny:How could I not with you waving that claw you call a fingernail in my face.
Lois:You listen to me and you listen good. If you step one foot back in Port Charles, you won't have to wait for Reeses men to kill you, because I'll kill you, myself. Do I make myself clear. Do you hear me?
Sonny:(watches Lois walk into the bathroom)Yeah, I hear you, Cerullo, but there's
more than one way to skin a Jax. I don't have to go to Port Charles, I can stick it to him long distance.(he picks up the phone and dials a number)
Jerry's Room, Jax's Penthouse:
Jerry(goes through Bobbie's purse until he finds her phone number, then he picks up the phone and dials it.)
Bobbie(answer)Hello.
Jerry:Is this Barbara Jean Spencer?
Bobbie:Yes, who is this?
Jerry:Hey, Red, it's me. You remember me? I saved you from the mugger with the tip of my cigar.
Bobbie:You! How did you get my phone number.
Jerry:You took off in such a huff, you forgot your purse. And, of course, I had to go through it to find out who you were, where you lived and what your phone number was.
Bobbie:Of course, and since you know who I am and where I live you canjust mail me back my purse. Goodbye.
Jerry:Oh, I couldn't do that.
Bobbie:Why not?
Jerry:I'd be kept up nights wondering if you'd gotten it. No, I think we should say, meet for dinner. I could hand it over to you then.
Bobbie:Thanks
but no thanks. There isn't anything that important in my purse that I can't replace. Goodbye.
Jerry:Red, don't do anything rash. Think of all the trouble you'll have to go through getting replacements fro all your ID and credit cards. Then there's your house keys. Who's to say since I know where you live that I won't use your keys to slip in your house while you're asleep, tonight. And just think. All you had to do was have dinner with me to save yourself all that trouble.
Bobbie:Why you miserable...All right, where do you want me to meet you?
Jerry:I thought that would bring you around to my way of thinking.
Downstairs, Jax's Penthouse:
V:I've been going through Mr. Corinthos holdings and one company strikes me as strange. C&C Management. It's a talent agency.
Jax:What's so strange about it.
V:For one thing, it's a newly formed business. That is in and of itself weird. All the other companies Mr. Corinthos owns shares in are well-established companies that were once the victim of a
hostile takeover attempt. There's also the fact while Mr. Corinthos only owns stock in those companies, he's co-owner of C&C Management.
Jax:Who's his partner in this company.
V:That's another thing. Mr. Corinthos' partner is Lois Cerullo. I believe she and Mr. Corinthos grew up together.
Jax:Lois! She's Brender's best friend. Why would she become partners with Sonny after what he did to Brender?
V:I don't know.
Jax:Well, I know how we can find out. Let's go.
V:Where?
Jax:To Bensonhurst. We're going to go to C&C Management and ask Lois.
Wyndemere:
Malcom:Mr. Cassadine, I need to speak to you.
Stefan:Yes, Malcom, what is it?
Malcom:You know I was preparing your tax return. And you know I needed a copy of your divorce decree to prove Mrs. Cassadine was no longer a legal dependant of yours. Anyway when I had an opportunity to look over your divorce decree from Mrs. Cassadine I noticed a discrepancy with it.
Stefan:Wha kind of discrepancy?
Malcom:The decree isn't stamped
with an official seal.
Stefan:Does that matter.
Malcom:Without that stamp, your decree is a worthless piece of paper. I also double-checked to see if the decree was on file andthehre's no official record of your divorce anywhere.
Stefan:Malcom, what are you saying?
Malcom:Mr. Cassadine, I don't know how to tell you this. You and Mrs. Cassadine are still legally married.
