Carla's Room, General Hospital:
Garcia:(to Monica)What happened here, Dr. Quartermaine?
Monica:Somone came in here and shut off my daughter-in-law's respirator.
Taggert:Is she all right?
Monica:She's still alive. We won't know if she's all right until she 
wakes up. If she wakes up. We don't know how long her brain was deprived 
of oxygen. There could be a chance of brain damage.
Taggert(snickering)Wouldn't it be real ironic if Anger Boy wound up with 
a brain damaged wife.
Monica:I don't find that funny, detective. Now if you'll excuse me, I've 
got other patients to see.(she exits)
Taggert:So do you think Corinthos had enough time to try and pull the 
plug on the little lady here, before we took him and his wife down to 
the station?
Garcia:It's possible, but then again, it's also possible it was one of 
Ms. Solieto's other enemies. She did have a real talent for making them. 
The first thing we've got to do is to prove Corinthos is the father of 
Solieto's baby. Let's go and hunt down Dr. Quartermaine and arrange for 
a paternity test to be run on Ms. Solieto's fetus.

Sonny's Holding Cell:
Sonny(is pacing the cell like a caged tiger as he tries to resist having 
flashbacks of Deke locking him in a closet by thinking of something 
else. Anything else)
Brenda(arrives outside his cell)How are you doing, baby.
Sonny:Brenda, what are you doing here?
Brenda:I know how you get when you're locked up and I wanted to see who 
you're doing..
Sonny:Brenda, what do you want?
Brenda:Sonny, I can get you out of here.
Sonny:How?
Brenda:Never mind how. Just trust that I can do it and will if you and I 
come to an agreement.
Sonny:What kind of agreement?
Brenda:If you agree to leave Lois and come away with me, I'll get all 
the charges dropped against you.
Sonny:How? Will you tamper with police evidence by switching hair 
samples.
Brenda:Don't underestimate me, Sonny. You have no idea of just what I'm 
capable of.
Sonny:Look Brenda, I'm going to forget we even had this conversation. 
I'm certainly not going to mention it to Lois. I could see you haven't 
been yourself since I came back to Port Charles. Lois told me Jax had 
you released from the psych ward at GH before you were completely well. 
Maybe you should think about seeking psychiatric help.
Brenda:As a matter of fact, Sonny, I occasionally see Gail Baldwin when 
I'm feeling a bit troubled and need to talk.
Sonny:Good, because maybe you should make an appointment with her. I 
don't know why you think you have the power to get me out of this mess 
and it doesn't even matter if you could. I wouldn't take you up on your 
offer. I'd never leave Lois. I love her and in case it's slipped your 
mind, Lois and I are going to have a baby.

Lois' Holding Cell:
Ned:Lois, I can't believe it's come to this.
Lois:Ned, what do you want?
Ned:Look at the level Corinthos has dragged you down to and it's only 
going to get worse the longer you stay with him.
Lois:You didn't tell me why you're here.
Ned:To make you a deal. I'm willing to drop the custody suit against you 
in exchange for you leaving Corinthos and divorcing him.
Lois:Ned, Sonny and I are going to have a baby.
Ned:That's even more reason for you to want to get away from him. Think 
about it, Lois. What kind of life will your child have with Sonny for a 
father. He'll be constantly getting himself in trouble with the law. He 
has been since he was a teenager. How will your daughter or son feel 
constantly having to watch their father being carted off in handcuffs 
and dragged down to the police station for questioning. How did you feel 
when Brooke had to watch what happened, tonight?
Lois:Ned, that's not fair.
Ned:Lois, think about what's best for your children. You left me because 
you felt it was best for Brooke. Can you say staying with Corinthos is 
what's really best for your unborn child, not to mention Brooke?

Jason's Penthouse:
Carly(opens the door to Bobbie)Bobbie, what are you doing here?
Bobbie:Carly, we have to talk.
Carly:It sounds serious. About what.
Bobbie;About your father.
Carly:My father? You told me you didn't know who he was. Did you lie to 
me.
Bobbie:No, I didn't lie, but things have changed. Ruby called me over to 
the diner the other day and dropped a bombshell on me. She knows who the 
two men who could be your father are.
Carly:What! Who are they?
Bobbie:I'd rather not say.
Carly:Bobbie, I have a right to know.
Bobbie;Before I tell you, I have to tell them.
Carly:You sound like you know them.
Bobbie:As a matter of fact, I do. But before I tell them, you have to 
make sure you really want to open this can of worms. Maybe it would be 
for the best to just leave things the way they are.
Carly:Bobbie, I've always wanted to have a father. My adopted father 
abandoned me when I was just a baby. Now you're telling me I have a 
chance to know my real father and you think I wouldn't want to explore 
it. Are you nuts.
Bobbie:All right, the decision is yours. I'll go and talk to them and 
see if they're willing to take a paternity test. But, Carly, you should 
prepare yourself. You may want to get to know them, but they might not 
want to get to know you.

P.C.P.D.:
Garcia:All right, Marcus, we need to make a decision. Do we go to the DA 
with what we've got against Corinthos or do we wait to build a stronger 
case against him.
Taggert:Garcia, are you crazy. We've got plenty of motive. Solieto 
humiliated Corinthos in public and people heard him threaten her. There 
was bad blood between them. He tricked Carla into thinking they were 
married when we was really married to the Cerullo broad. He was even 
sleeping with both of them at the same time and he knocked both of them 
up.
Garcia:Marcus, we don't know that and we won't be able to prove it until 
we get the test results back from the paternity test.
Taggert:Then there's the fact his gun is the one that was used to shoot 
Solieto and he had Solieto's blood on his jacket.
Garcia:Marcus, I've known Corinthos longer than you and he's not stupid. 
If he used his own gun to shoot Solieto, I don't see him hanging on to 
it as a souvenir. Something about this doesn't feel right.
Taggert:We've been waiting for years to nail Corinthos and we've finally 
got him. We're taking what we've got to the DA and recommending they 
charge Corinthos with attempted murder. End of discussion.
