Jax's Penthouse:
Jerry(as Jax enters)Thank god you're finally back. You told me not to 
leave until you returned.(he heads for the door)
Jax:Don't you even want to hear about our financial status? 
Jerry:You can tell me, later. There's somewhere I've got to be.(he 
exits)
Brenda(comes down the stairs)I thought I heard your voice, Jax, darling. 
How was you trip?
Jax:I'd rather not talk about it. Actually, what I'd prefer to talk 
about is us. I've done a lot of thinking about our relationship while 
I'll was gone and I've come to a realization.
Brenda:So have I.
Jax:Really. Then maybe you've come to the same conclusion that I have. 
It's time we ended it. 
Brenda:Jax, darling, you know me so well, it's like you can read my 
mind.
Jax:It's Sonny, isn't it? You're still in love with him, aren't you?
Brenda:Yes, it's true. I've tried so hard to fight it, but I can't deny 
it to myself any longer. But I just didn't know how I was going to tell 
you. The last thing I want to do is hurt you.
Jax:Brenda, you've always been in love with Sonny. I knew that going 
into this relationship. It's something I've tried to fight, but I can't 
fight it any longer. No matter how many presents I give you or romantic 
fantasies I fulfill, it's just not going to change your feelings for 
Sonny. And having finally faced the truth, I know it's time I let you go 
so you can be with the man you truly love. Sonny.
Brenda:(hugs him)Oh, Jax, darling, you're so wonderful. What did I ever 
do to deserve you. And you're not even mad at me because I love someone 
else. Sometime's I don't think you're real. I'm so sorry that I've hurt 
you.
Jax:(kisses her on the forehead)Brender, you haven't. The only way you 
could truly hurt me is if you stayed with me when the one you wanted was 
truly Sonny. You'll be making me happy if you go back to Sonny.
Brenda:I'll go to Sonny at the party, tonight, and tell him he can 
finally have me back.(she heads upstairs)
Jax:(watching her go)Good and I'll go find V, tell her I'm free and ask 
her to marry me.

V's Apartment:
V(taking a final look around before leaving)Well, I guess that's it.
Mac:I'm going to be sorry to see you go. I'm going to miss you.
V:Oh, once you get a new tenant living here you'll forget all about me.
Mac:No, that's not true and I don't want to lose touch with you. I want 
you to write me and give me your address. Then the next time I'm in New 
York, I'll drop in and pay you a visit.
V:I'll look forward to it. I want to thank you for offering to drive me 
to the airport. You didn't have to. I could have taken a cab.
Mac:Nonsense, it's the least I can do for you.

Scorpio House:
Robin(answers the door to Carly)Carly, what are you doing here?
Carly:(snarls)I hope you're happy you interferring little twit. Because 
of you neither one of us can have Jason. You've ruined everything. I 
hope you're happy.
Robin:I don't know what you're talking about.
Carly:Jason just married Carla and it's all your fault.
Robin:That's ridiculous. Why would Carla marry Jason. She's my friend. 
She was trying to help me get back together with Jason.
Carly:Oh, get real. The only one Carla is a friend to is Carla.
Robin:You're wrong. Carla wouldn't do this to me.
Carly:Well, if you don't believe me why don't you go over to the 
penthouse. She's already moved her things into Jason's bedroom. You can 
see with your own two eyes that I'm telling the truth.

Somewhere in the Outback:
Anna:(going through several passports in different names as Robert 
continues packing for them)So, who should we be, this time, Robert? 
Fredrick and Ginger Astaire?
Robert(smiles)Fred and Ginger.
Anna:Nicholas and Nora Charles?
Robert:The Thin Man.
Anna:John and Emma Steed?
Robert:The Avengers.
Anna:Or, Richard and Lucille Richards, or as their known by their 
friends, Dick and Lucy.
Robert:I Love Lucy.
Anna:Frisco has got a weird sense of humor.
Robert:When I think of Rio, I think of dancing. So let's go with Fred 
and Ginger.
Anna:I guess that means I'll be a red head, this time.
Robert:And I'll put some shoe polish on my hair and become a brunette.
Anna:Robert, why didn't you put the top to my bathing suit in the 
suitcase?
Robert:Well, I just thought when in Rome do as the romans do.
Anna:Put it in.

Jason's Penthouse:
Sonny(opens the door to Robin)Robin, what are you doing here?
Robin:Sonny, Carly just told me the most ridiculous thing. She said 
Jason and Carla just got married.
Sonny(tries to guide her out of the apartment before she sees what's 
going on)Robin, this really isn't a very good time. Maybe you should 
come back, later.
Carla(calls to Robin)Robin, come in and join us. You can be the first to 
congratulate Jason and I, aside for Mikey and Lois-Marie, that is.
Robin:Congratulate you on what?
Carla:On our marriage. I became Mrs. Jason Morgan a little over an hour 
ago and I owe it all to you.
Robin:That's not possible. You wouldn't do that to me. You were trying 
to help Jason and I get back together. You told me so.
Carla:I lied to you, you little fool.
Jason:Don't talk to Robin like that.
Carla:I'll talk to her anyway I like. It's time someone tells this 
self-righteous ninny the truth. I used you, Robin. I never cared if you 
and Jason got back together. You were just a useful tool for me to use 
to undermine Jason's position in the mob. Nothing more, nothing less. 
And because you were so helpful to me in causing Jason problems with 
your sanctimonious sermonizing, Jason had no choice but to marry me. 
I'll be sure to send you a thank you note in the mail.
Lois:Shouldn't we be getting to the Outback for Katherine's party.
Carla:You're so right, Lois-Marie. In fact, I just can't wait to see 
Mikey's little commercial. I'm sure it's going to be something none of 
us well ever forgetr for as long as we live.(she grabs Jason's arm and 
drags him out of the penthouse)Come on, Jason, let's go.(Sonny and Lois 
follow leaving behind a crestfallen Robin to show herself out)

Port Charles Airport:
V:Mac, thanks for driving me here.
Mac:Do you want me to stay with you until your plane takes off?
V:No, that's all right. My plane doesn't leave for another hour. I 
brought a book with me to read while I wait for my flight to be called.
Mac:Well, then, I guess this is it. I hope you find much happiness in 
your new life, V, because no one deserves it more than you.
V(hugs him)Thanks, Mac, I'm going to miss you.
Mac:Just remember to write and when I'm in New York, next, I'll pay you 
a visit.(Across the room Faison watches Mac leave, then he walks across 
the room to where V is sitting)
