Kitchen, Mainhouse on Isle of San Monique: Bobbie(deposits a potato and potato peeler in Stefan's hands, then picks up and potato and knife for herself)There you go, Stefan, get to it. Stefan(holding the potato up)What is this strange looking thing? Bobbie(tries not to laugh)It's a potato. Haven't you ever eaten one, before. Stefan:Of course I have. This isn't a potato. I've had plenty of potatoes on my plate and none of them have looked like this. Bobbie:This is the potato in it's natural form before you bake, fry or mash it. Stefan:(holding up the potato peeler)And what is this thing? Bobbie:That's a potato peeler. You use it to peel potatoes. Hence the name potato peeler. Stefan:Let me get this straight. Someone spent time inventing this tool to peel a potato when you can just as easily peel it with a knife. Bobbie:It was invented so you won't cut your hand while you're peeling a potato. Since you're a first-timer at peeling potatoes, I thought it would be safer for you to use the peeler. Stefan:Well, I'd prefer to use a knife, thank you.(he takes one out of the silverware drawer and begins peeling his potato) Bobbie:(watches him as she peels her own potato)You were telling me the truth, earlier, weren't you? You've really never been in a kitchen before, have you? Stefan:I don't know why you find that so hard to believe. Why would I? The servants prepare my food for me and set it in front of me, so why would I want to invade their private domain. Why would I even want to. Bobbie:I've just never met anyone whose never stepped a foot into a kitchen before. Ow! Stefan:What's wrong? Bobbie:I cut my finger. Stefan:Perhaps you should have used the potato peeler. Bobbie:Very funny, Stefan. Stefan:Let me have a look at it. Bobbie:That's not necessary. I'm a nurse. I can take care of it, myself. Stefan:Let me see it. Bobbie:If you insist. Stefan:It's bleeding rather a lot.(he brings her hands up to his lips and slowly runs his mouth along her wounded index finger) Bobbie:Stefan, what do you think you're doing. Stefan:Just cleaning off the blood so I can get a look at your cut. Bobbie:And you wonder why people are always making vampire cracks about you when you do stuff like this. Stefan:We're now of the same blood, Barbara. Does that make you nervous.(he turns serious as he examines her finger)I can see it's just a minor cut. It's already stopped bleeding. It won't even need a bandage.(he brings her finger up to his lips again and begins nibbling on it)What's the matter, Barbara. Am I getting to you? Jason's Penthouse: Dembroski:So you're sure it was this Dr. Jones who stole our goods? Jason:His cuff-links was found laying near our man. Dembroski:What do you intend to do about Jones?(before Jason can answer the doorbell rings) Jason(opens the door to Robin)Robin, what are you doing here? Robin:Tell me it's not true, Jason. Tell me you're not planning to hurt Tony. Jason:Robin, how do you know about Jones? Robin:Then it's true? Jason, you promised me you woulnd't hurt Tony. Jason:Robin, he stole a shipment from me off the docks. Robin:That's ridiculous. Tony wouldn't do that. Jason, I want you to promise me you won't hurt Tony. Jason:Robin, you didn't answer me. How did you find out about Jones. Robin:Carla told me. Carla's my friend. She's trying to help me get back together with you. She wants us together. Jason:Look, Robin, I haven't got time to talk to you, right now.(he pushes her out the door) Robin:But, Jason, I'm not done talking to you. Jason:I'll talk to you, later.(he slams the door in her face) Dembroski:I thought you said she'd no longer be a problem. Jason:She isn't. Didn't you hear what she said. She said Carla Solieto told her about Jones. How would she know? Dembroski:The Solieto broad approached me about taking over for you as leader. I'm sure she's making it her business to know everything about your business. You know, I turned her down because you assured us little Miss Scorpio was no longer a problem. But maybe I was a little hasty in turning her down. Maybe a woman leader wouldn't be so bad. At least she doesn't have some little Miss Moral Majority whispering in her ear and telling her what to do. Port Charles Hotel Grill: Sonny:You're not still mad about what I said about Brenda, last night, are you? Lois:Brenda would never consider me her enemy, Sonny. She's going to be shocked about us when she finds out, of course, but once she has time to get used to ti, everything will be find between us. Brenda definitely won't think of me as her enemy. Sonny:You're fooling yourself, Cerullo. It's highly unlikely you and Brenda will be able to remain friends after the truth about us it out. Lois:Look, Bensonhurst, when I found out Brenda knew and was helping Ned like to me in his Eddie Maine days it didn't ruin our friendship and this won't either. Sonny:Yes, but there's a difference. That was something she did to you. If Brenda does something to someone you're supposed to get over it, but if you do something to her she never does. I mean, in Brenda's mind that Harlan Barrett didn't pay enough attention to her is equal to Deke throwing me in a closet and beating me. She has a tendency to over-exaggerate and over-dramatize anything bad that happens to her. Oh, great. Lois:What's wrong? Sonny:Brenda just entered and she's heading this way. Carla:(steps in Brenda's path before she can make it to Sonny and Lois' table)I need to talk to you. It's about you and Sonny. Can we go to the bar? Lois:What do you think that's about? Sonny:I could care less. While Carla's distracting Brenda, why don't we leave. Lois:Sonny, we can't. You said you'd give my plan one more chance. Ned's having dinner her with Alexis Davis. So we've got to stay here until Ned sees us together. Brenda(and Carla sit at the bar)What did you want to talk to me about? Carla:The truth about why Sonny really left you at the altar. He didn't do it because he didn't love you enough to marry you. He did it because he loved you too much to marry you. Brenda:Why are you telling me this? Carla:Because now that I've had a chance to get over my hurt and anger that Mikey couldn't get over you and make our marriage work, I want him to be happy. And I think you're the only person who can make him happy. Faison's Chateau, Bordeaux, France: Faison(is feeding his parrot when Jacque enters)What is it, Jacque? Jacque:The monthly report on Gillian Devane has arrived from the states, Mr. Faison. Faison(turns to Jacque)What has Miss Ardanowski been up to this month. Jacque:Quite a bit, sir. Miss Ardanowski has become pregnant, sir. Faison:By that corporate raider. Jacque:Yes, Mr. Faison. Faison:Has this Jax finally decided to leave that ninny he's married to and do the right thing by Miss Ardanowski? Jacque:No, sir. Miss Ardanowski hasn't told him she's pregnant with his child. Instead, she's taken a job working for Sonny Corinthos and is planning on moving to New York. Faison(lights up a cigar)Excellent. The more I hear about her, the more she reminds me of my Davnee. Jacque:Yes, Miss Ardanowski and Mrs. Scorpio's lives do seem to be paralleling each others. They both choice a career in the law enforcement field. And they've both fell in love with australian men. Faison:And now like her sister Anna, Miss Ardanowski has gotten pregnant by her aussie lover, but has no intention of telling him about it because she doesn't want to use her child to hold on to him. Excellent. I think it's time I finally returned to Port Charles. Jacque:What do you plan on doing, sir? Faison:Watch her, then when she makes her move to New York, Venus Ardanowski will Disappear off the face of the Earth, just as she did when she vanished from her nursery when she was a baby and known as Gillian Devane. Jacque:I'll go and make the travel arrangements, sir. Faison(pours himself a drink and gazes up at the portrait hanging over his mantel. It's of V.)Soon, my dear, Gillian, soon we will be together and no force on the Earth will ever seperate us or stop us from fulfilling our destiny. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
